- In this smile reveal, Dr. O shares how he transformed this smile with dental implants and a custom full arch prosthetic!
This patient came to us and wanted to shop hiding her smile. She said that her smile was hindering her ability to live life to to fullest.
Dr. O utilized CHROME Guided Smile to transform her smile and give her the confidence that she desired!
First, 3D imaging allowed us to take the initial condition of her teeth and overlay what a complete, nice smile would look like.
Second, we were able to plan the implants for the most effective placement taking into consideration the bone condition and the future smile.
Then on the day of treatment, Dr. O removed the remaining teeth and placed the dental implants using the predictable CHROME Guided Smile guide. At this same appointment, we delivered an intermediate prosthetic that allowed her to leave with a new full smile!
After about 6 months of allowing the implants to integrate and heal, she will return for final impressions for the fabrication of her final custom prosthetic.

@@illdoctrine9329 dentists not being as supported with insurance as doctors and nurses are. If everyone had to pay for the their own medical visits and stuff they would know that's even more expensive than the best quality of dental work that's available

It’s knowing that it’s fake teeth, temporary, and so expensive is what makes me depressed and I’m 22. I have to get two crowns and one implant. God, I wish I could go back in time to save my teeth. I don’t think I’ll ever be happy even if the dentist fixed my teeth.

Here they put only 4 or it depends of some sort of circumstances?
We place as many as are reasonably possible to achieve the best results. We do not charge for the individual implants so this has only a positive result for our patient.

Most grafting will heal fully in about 6-8months.

What was the time frame from the "before" to the "after" ?

All on 4 is the only protocol that cannot have any implant not integrate. We always place more whenever possible.

It can but is very rare to have issues with healing. Like I stated before, in the past 150 cases, I have only 2 instances where I only placed 4.

Correct. Our patients leave with a smile fixed on to their implants within just minutes after having their teeth removed.

One last question, a dentist that does implants told me you couldn't get the top teeth done without getting the bottom teeth done at the same time. His rationale was that the teeth had to sit properly together. Is this true?

Problem is its expensive, depressing, embarrassing. I spent 13k between 2018 and 2020 with a dentist and trusted him. I had 9 crowns 4 root canals and some fillings (all gritty like sandpaper because he didn't polish them and when I would say it, he replied it will smooth out). What caused my issues is I was hit by drunk driver and my jaw was dislocated both sides that caused grinding and molars to break down. I did have surgery on both sides of jaw. To this point I only had fillings in my molars at age 12.
His work started to break and tooth #2 crown broke right off he did. Then further things started happening with the crowns he did. Now I am having a new dentist fix the other ones work and having to put out more money on stuff that was supposed to last 20 years.
I am depressed beyond upset in PAIN constantly. I'm almost to the point of just pull them all and give me damn dentures and be done with it. It has left me with I don't trust now and my teeth were white straight beautiful before and now I don't even want to look at myself. At a complete LOSS and out of money almost. I own a salon so our appearance is HUGE in my industry. Dental insurance is a huge joke. To be able to eat, what I wouldn't give. I've lost 20lbs since we started tooth #3.

Are you in the UK? I'm presuming not because you mentioned dental insurance. You can get dental implants on the NHS if you lose them as a result of a traumatic injury or accidents

Can you please help me with a makeover. I have lost all my teeth. I need implants. Dentures are not optional at this point. I live in the Philadelphia area however I'll come to wherever you are. I am a healthcare provider that works in Trauma and Critical care. My teeth were damaged and broken off by an inexperience dentist. I have 2 teeth. No illness. No DM. Just lost all my teeth. Compliant with ally appointments on monthly bases. My only hope is dental implants. So I'm asking will you consider doing a dental mouth makeover. Thank you! Yes I know the coat is 50,000 for extractions , sedation and the entire procedure. The permanent ones will not be inserted until 3-6 months secondary to healing and the gums and bones maturing to the new implant. I am very much aware of the entire process. The follow up, pros,cons etc. Thanks. If you are not willing to do this. A simple NO will be fine just be courteous and respond.
This is a genuine question. Why is Mexico and other countries able to do this cheaper. I’m not willing to go to another country but I don’t understand why it’s cheaper. And also ………… why aren’t those dentists making a beeline for the states considering they could make sooooo much more money for their families.

looks good. my treatment plan had me in tears today here in Michigan. just outrageous the price I know my teeth 😬 are horrible. but I almost suffered a heart attack after hearing their amount. and the lady barely spoke to me. only to say a smart comment. bye to my 90$ just to be seen.😢 called my fiancee balling like a baby.
The way Dr. Olsen explains it, is that it’s like buying a good vehicle. You finance it out over a long period. It would be worth getting an extra job IMO.

Most people do have sufficient bone, but everyone is unique.
Surprised to see good natural teeth being extracted for the sake of 2 grossly decayed teeth and some amount of edentulous space.
But I assume it's a trend in cosmetic dentistry. Take out the natural and give artificial. No one shares 5 year follow ups and radiographs of such cases.

Not sure about your assessment why rampant decay is considered for extraction rather than endodontic and prosthetic rehabilitation.
