    Cool machines you've got access to Brock. Jake is looking good in that cowboy hat. I checked out the TYM 2515 yesterday and I came away impressed....and that's hard to do to a Kubota owner!! 🤣🤣 Tractor Hard! 🚜💪!

  • @todd9453

    The 2515 is an awesome tractor with great features and capabilities for it's size if your situation calls for a smaller tractor. If your needs require a little more the biggest detractor in getting a larger machine was price. The price usually goes up pretty quickly the farther past 25hp you go. 35 hp at the pto gives a person a LOT more attachment options then say 18 hp. If you can get a much more capable machine for only 2-3k more why wouldn't you? Great video Brock!

    TYM bought out Branson tractors because their parent company Kukje makes the most dependable tractor engines on the market. Any of the rebadged Bransons (15 and 20 series) are pound for pound one of the best tractors available today. Mine was actually a dealer swap from this dealer. The combination of Branson and TYM models does have some overlap and I’d expect a few more models to be discontinued in the future.

      They have too many models in the 15 series. You’re not losing access to anything because they no longer make the 4215. It’s all the same parts as the 3515 in the 4815. It’s the same engine as the 474 and the 494 and the 4815

    That's the frame size and HP you should've got. Small enough to fit most places and power enough to do practically everything on property/hobby far. 40ish HP small frame. It's a better choice. Just my opinion.

    Been looking at a tym 574. I don’t really need a tractor that big. Seems like a good price on the 4215. Too bad I live in Wisconsin. Would be nice to sit in it and see how it feels. I do a lot of the same work as you. Cut and split wood for heat. Got some food plots for deer and a decent yard a mower would be nice on the back. If you didn’t get your 574 would you get the 4215 instead or should I stay with the 574

    I would be concerned about the frunt axial because it looks the same size or a hair smaller than the competitors and it's lifting dubol the amount sooner than later that axial will probably fail

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  13 дней назад

      I’ve done a bunch of videos on the topic. One of them that has 100,000 views on it is titled why can’t John Deere lift as much as the competition
      There are different theories on it. With the front axle can handle is one major concern.
      The thing is that this model has been out a long time and if you go in the Facebook groups that are specific to these models of tractors, you won’t find a bunch of people complaining about Axel failures
      The axles are bigger than the competitors.

  • @andrewgee241

    I suspect that in the near future many of the rebranded Branson/Kukje models are going to be discontinued. Too much overlap with existing TYM models of similar size.

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  13 дней назад

      You could be right. I have a very small amount of insider information that I get from reps and dealers and friends in the company. I could easily be wrong about this… But I don’t think you will see a large scale discontinuation of models.
      If they do cut down on the total number of models available, I also think they are as likely to remove the TYM versions as the Branson versions
      TYM North America retained a large percentage of the Branson leadership

    Sooo, you showed us a tractor we can’t have, took down the video, and then showed us a tractor being discontinued?? Not a very good endorsement of TYM. Is this what we should expect if we give TYM our money? This is exactly what freaks me out about this company.

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  13 дней назад +10

      Interesting way to think about it. Definitely not how I think of it.
      They have so many similar models that discontinuing the 4215 would not make me less likely to buy a 4215.
      To me, it’s like if they said they were no longer going to offer a long bed in the F250 Limited extended cab
      They still sell the F250. They still sell the long bed. They still have the limited. You just can’t put them together
      There are too many models in the 15 series that are similar to other TYM models. Those other models run the same engine and the same loader cylinders and the same axle, and so on
      The other Tractor I showed is probably coming to market next year, but they decided they weren’t ready for me to release the info yet.
      Well, the left-hand wanted to talk about it and the right hand didn’t

    • @TheTractorYard
      @TheTractorYard 13 дней назад +6

      We showed a tractor we are hoping gets released that got too much attention too fast… unfortunately we had to remove that content for now. My response to that was to prepare the best deal possible on a similar tractor that was available to the public RIGHT NOW. Nothing dubious here, just having fun selling tractors and we genuinely want to offer affordable equipment to everyone.

You just don’t know what you don’t know and you need to think through perceptions. Fortunately or unfortunately I’ve been in sales and marketing for over 20yrs and have either been burned by numerous too soon product launches or sat across from important customers having to explain why we killed products they didn’t agree with killing. Just be careful, you have more influence than you know and I’m betting above all you want to keep your honest reputations in tact.

      @@daviddodier8845 yes sir we do and we appreciate the insight! I can’t say I disagree with TYM discontinuing this tractor. It is the same exact tractor as the 4815ch and until recently the price was not different enough to justify 6 less horsepower.

      @@RockhillfarmYT the new holland rollabar rake (or ground driven side delivery rake) are those old hay rakes you see all the time. Simple but old. I'm thinking they make these because to ship them they fit into a small crate and I can see they have less steel so could be cheaper to make.... depending on the gearbox cost.

    When shopping tractors, I first walk around back and see if it has telescoping 3pt arms. If it doesn't, I dont need to waste any more time. If it does have them, it usually means the tractor has a bunch of other features that you probably dont realize you need as well.
