I'm so glad F1 is starting to pick up popularity in the United States; it's lonely being an F1 fan here right now. Hopefully it will inspire a new generation of drivers too; there haven't been many Americans on the grid over the years.
McLaren have actually signed a 13 year old American prodigy that seems to have a lot of potential to become a good F1 driver. I also think that Merc was interested in signing him to their academy. His name is Ugo Ugochukwu look him up
He explains everything in such a clean and understandable manner. Listening to him is very calming and pleasurable regardless of what is he talking about. Great guy.
he's super nice, like when he crashed into Valterri at 180mph by taking a wet line during a rain race and blamed him, then punched him in the helmet after ruining his race. Real classy guy this George Russel

Mr.Saturday refers to Russell outperforming his Williams car during a single hotlap, even though the car was too slow to maintain race pace. I guess Russell doesn't want to sound too negative about his former team, which suits him!

It is impossible to be unimpressed with George Russell. His brilliance, skill, leadership potential, past history, and rock steady performance in all areas are really above anything we've seen in the recent past.
He really brought me back into formula 1, there are other amazing drivers in low performing cars, but the negative attitudes of grosjean and magnussen in the haas in 2019 and 20 for example show that it takes real humility and resilience to keep a positive determined attitude like George has done. (Btw I love grosjean and magnussen and perhaps it was a team attitude that caused them to appear frustrated but even so) I think even to view Hamilton in 2012, he became so mentally dominated by his reliability issues.

Absolutely Vincent, I think this and his reaction to Sakhir really showed what he is made of. To think his possible maiden win was lost by the team he aspired to be at and not by his own error, must have been very tough, but he’s getting his chance now at driving near the top.
And it's LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!!! Can't wait to see what George does in a front running car this season, finishing 4th in his first race with Mercedes was awesome to see!!
It's pretty cool to see George Russell on here. As an American, I've been a fan of Formula 1 since I was a kid. I was always into motorsports but Formula 1 just clicked with me. I know that some people became fans because of Formula 1 Drive To Survive but I already knew about Formula 1. I hope we see another F1 driver doing this. One driver I can think of is Daniel Ricciardo. He's a real class act that guy.
On one hand, I'm so glad Russell got into a faster car because he definitely deserves it. On the other hand as a RB fan I'm unhappy that he's joining my mortal foe.
Should have asked more about the "Mr.Saturday" thing, I am pretty sure some people will ask how did George do an outstanding job at qualifying with a weak-ish car of the Williams (last year). People can definitely ask like can a driver "out-drive" a car over its potential. That would be cool.
No one gonna talk how the CC are litterally something totally different? Like their talking about gaming mid way through the video XD. Amazing, just amazing.
As an American idk why F1 didn’t blow up over here earlier cuz racing is tough af and that’s a real man’s sport cuz we can all relate to that inner racer we have
