- In this video we look at the 2025 Chevy Traverse High Country finished in Stardust Metallic exterior with the Jet Black/Sky Cool Gray interior. The Traverse High Country is new for the 2025 model year and includes the same equipment as the RS minus the sunroof as standard. The High Country includes different styling including more chrome accents, different wheel design, and brown interior color accents. Given the tweaks to styling and packaging, I believe the High Country is the best trim in the Traverse lineup. For 2025, packaging has also been tweaked across the trim lineup with expanded access to Super Cruise on LT and Z71 trims. For the $58k price point, this might be hard to beat. @@Maxwell1989 I would think so. The brown shouldn't clash and the gray and blue should work fine together. I am driving a Lakeshore Blue Equinox right now and it's a nice color but very popular.
Who in the world would want to drop Sixty Stacks on a 4 Banger. Love the look. Test drove a 24. I bought me a 2024 4Runner Limited.
Well I guess it's good you bought a 2024 4runner since the 2025 4runner will have a 4 cylinder.
Even though the 24 Runner most likely will retain its value for offroad purposes, but if you use it on the road.. then it's 20 year old vehicle that doesn't have any tech and rides and handles poorly on the road.
agreed .... I love the new style Traverse but the MSRP is getting too pricey for what I want to spend ...

I really don’t like the red interior for all colors and trim levels. The body is beautiful but the engine doesn’t feel like enough power for it, needs at least a V6. It was kind of disappointing to drive the Z71. The High Country seems more luxurious on the inside which is a plus. I hope they keep the outside and keep upgrading the interior and I might be sold. For now we went with a 2025 Kia Sorento the body style is smaller but similar to the Traverse and the interior is much more sleek and luxurious looking. Sad, I was set on the Traverse so long. This model is gorgeous and the color I would’ve loved besides the white/blue interior. 😢🤷🏻♀️

Honestly, if this had the HUD, it would be a home run. I think i actually prefer the exterior to the acadia and enclave, and with the white two-tone interior, it, while not as nice as those vehicles, looks much closer while being quite a bit cheaper.
my wife's Tahoe when we bought it New in 2019 was only $59k for the LT trim ..

Traverse High Country vs Grand Highlander Hybrid Max Platinum, about same MSRP. Which one would be your pick?
I'd really have to think about it but my knee jerk reaction after being around both would be Grand Highlander Max. That powertrain is very peppy. Super Cruise is one of the standouts for the Traverse.

$58k and Panoramic sunroof isn't standard ... wow ..
I think they should've used the satin/ bronze trim on the exterior as the previous model. It looks like an LT trim. The interior should've had at least a faux open-pore wood look instead of the faux carbon fiber look. It doesn't say luxury
The biggest difference that is easy to distinguish between an LT/Z71 and the High Country/RS is the gloss black trim. The gloss looks much more premium than the matte black textured trim on the lower trims.
Its looks good maybe try putting a v8 in it or a turbo v6

Yeah I don't know what is up with GM recently with auto windows. It's a feature they have stripped away from many of their new vehicles entirely or only have the driver window as such. Back in the day Trax LT's or mid $20k cars would have all four 🤷
The High Country trim doesn't look like a luxury SUV, to much black plastic on trim ,no chrome rim's, no foglamps and lite color seats that will show dirt soon or later. It looks cheap for a luxury SUV. I would buy the LT model with cloth seats and better rim's choices with sunroof some others options packages and pay a lot cheaper price and have a better looking vehicle.
I wouldn't even consider it because of the 4 banger...agreed high country is just a high cost nothing else!! Good at up charging for just a name!!!

I don’t know why they did this and messed that front beautiful grill the RS 1:46 has They was working with a beautiful thing stop listening to these older designers stick with the RS trim. You guys was going in the right direction with this truck. I have a RS silver, and black is a head Turner

The Traverse doesn't offer a HUD. You'd have to buy an Acadia or Enclave
There is no HUD available on Traverse. Acadia and Enclave will have it standard or optional depending on trim.

The other thing I hope is that the interior is of higher quality. I think the console on the Z71 is really cheap plastic. It really detracts from the overall quality.

Isn't the High Country trim supposed to be better than the RS? Because High Country trim was made specifically made for luxury, so it makes no sense how it goes under the RS trim for 2025 😢.

The wheels are too big, and the design is too much in-your-face. Bright white interior? Their designers have lost the plot, and probably do not drive the cars they design. Certainly they do not clean them.

Looks nice but slightly disjointed interior. Looks sporty like rs with the black and fake carbon but lacks the classy look high country gives with the white or brown leathers and wood trims that give the luxury feel. Just have to be good with sporty look no classy.
Wish I could get that interior with the RS instead of that ugly ass red... dumb they dont offer options for the interior on the RS.

Naw this looks like Grandma car the RS is the Sh!t RS interior is way more classy better than this. The front grill looks boring no 22 inch rims just spend the extra $8,000 and get the best $61,000 out the door for the best my Wife said The high country looks like the older models. I don’t know somewhere around here. I could have got a brand new Escalade but I got a fully loaded RS the 2nd one to come off the truck here in Indy May 13 order it January 3 2024 it’s a head turner not this one looks boring. I’ve been having it since May barely drive it only 2100 miles use it to drive to work only had one person to seat in the back I only roll in sport mode it get up and go for a 4 twin turbo328 horsepower people talk about the sound of the engine. I never get to hear it because of 10 speaker Bose system. Thumbs up only for the RS model from a person that money is no option. I could’ve brought anything I wanted. I took a lot of flack for my boys when I told him I had a Traverse on order they all looked at me sideways until they seen it.
RS Trim owner here....all black....love it!!!
This is a non-functional car in every sense. The back rear glass doesn't work. The motor is smaller, yet the gas mileage still suffers. The price is ridiculous, and it gives off soccer mom vibes!
