If u think affordability is not a problem for u…u better live in Toronto or Vancouver….I really don’t care if Sk is boring or not…as long as I’m financially stable here…I’m happy with Sk
Hey, thanks for watching! I was living in West London before I moved to Saskatchewan so I know the feeling haha. Glad you took the leap though. Stay in touch, as it is always great to hear from other people who moved from the UK! :)
@@jackincanada163 Thank you for sharing your experience Jack ! :D. I’m from Barnet, North London. I’m currently staying with relatives in Moose Jaw, you mentioned it as an exception for public travel and access like Regina and Saskatoon, so i feel lucky with that. I was wondering are there any UK meet-ups in Saskatchewan ? I like meeting new people and it’ll be great to meet the locals but also people from home, in case I get home sick. 😂
Thank you Jack, that was a good summary. I think it depends on your stage in life too. I think SK is very nice for raising a family and for little kids and also to retire after you lived in bigger cities all over the world because like you say the peace and quiet and the scenery is awesome. Thank you
Thanks so much for watching. I agree with that. Saskatchewan is without a doubt a great place to raise a family because of the space and the quietness. Lots of people I know will still try to have those bigger city breaks to places like Edmonton but then always like coming back to Saskatchewan. That is very much the same for me as well :)
That’s a good place, but winter is so tough specially for those who drive small cars and for those who are doing outdoor jobs. Moreover, tuition fee in colleges is almost double in comparison with other provinces
I moved to Regina in 2021 and will be heading to Saskatoon in the next couple of months. I have not enjoyed my time in Regina at all. The cost of living is excellent but everything else is a major let down. Looking forward to getting to Saskatoon!
So sorry for only just seeing this. Personally, I love Saskatoon, or anywhere which is fairly easy to get to in Saskatoon. I am about an hour and a bit from the city and I like knowing that I can go to the city but I also don't have to be there all of the time.
Saskatoon has great bus service in Saskatoon, but he’s correct travelling about the province is a problem. Uber is a thing though. So you could likely hire a driver to get you somewhere.
Flair is technically air canadas budget airline they’re a train wreck had to wait almost an hour to check in to both flights I had every other airline you could checkin online plus they’re notorious for canceling and delaying tons of flights
Excuse me? Amazing? If you like freezing all winter, an empty downtown after 6 pm, no decent jobs, every failed grocery store turned into a bingo hall, city center where the insurance companies won't sell home insurance due to all the break-ins, the only city I've ever been in where I found drunken aboriginals passed out leaning up against buildings, etc, etc... There used to be a decorative concrete wall downtown on Rose street they had to take down because in the hot summer the whole street stunk like urine from the drunken bums coming out of the bars and going behind it to take a whizz. Real classy place....
Hi Jack, am from Scotland edinburgh I met a Canadian woman in edinburgh Town, she is such a lovely caring thoughtful woman she is from virginia in Saskatchewan and Regina she wants me to go over for a week is this place safe for uk residents and do you have problems with spider or reptile bites this is what am mostly scared of but does gangs walk about with guns on them? Is there any gangs basically?, I like your video dude and ive subscribed.
Hey Steven! Thanks for watching and Subscribing. Yes, Regina is pretty safe (depending on where you are of course). I have been to Regina quite a few times and I love the city. It is quite small (especially compared to Edinburgh) but it is a pretty nice place. If you're there I would see if you are able to go to a Saskatchewan Roughriders game!
Thanks sooo much for the comment, I really do appreciate it☺️ As much as I would love to make videos more regularly, I’m currently working two jobs. I’m hoping to try and make more videos in the summer though. Thank you for your continued support❤️
It really depends on what job you do. I would look at Sask Jobs, or specific companies that your career is based in. For me as teacher, I looked at different school divisions to see what type of jobs are out there for teachers. Hope that helps!
Hi Jack! Thank you for educating us. So there are no buses in big cities like Saskatoon. Saskatchewan? What about the rent in big cities in Saskatchewan for apartments, rooms with bathrooms and shared kitchens? Have a nice day dude!

boring place to live: i live in saskatchewan and its very fun with all the buildings and the schools are fun too lack of transport: there are tuns of buses and cars and even uber drivers high crime rate: im in regina and theres not as much crimes as in UNITED STATES harsh winters: you can make snowmans play in the snow and even snowboarding and christmas stuff in school limited food: there are TUNS of food limited activities: same as "boring place to live" its fun with sports and games this is a bad video none of this is true😒👎 i dont recommend listening to this guy
I have lived in Saskatchewan for 20 years but also have lived around the world as well, what he said does have truth to it. Specially since he said living in the small towns. Transportation is terrible. If you live in one of the cities it’s much better. However when I lived in Leng shuijiang I could hop on the train and travel distance like Regina to Saskatoon in 30 minutes since the speed train travels at speeds of 400-500km. And cost to travel is like 20 dollars Canadian
No ways! Lived in China for 10 years! No train travels above 320km p/h, The faster is the Beijing to Shanghai magnetic train which travels slightly above 400. I agree with you on the fact that the PRC has good transport networks!

Moving to Regina next year.. Your video helped a lot.
Thanks so much, I am so glad you found the video helpful! :)
I have been considering a move to Saskatchewan for over a year now.
Likely going to pull the trigger on it this year.
Where in Saskatchewan are you thinking of moving to? It really is an amazing province, or at least in my opinion :-)
As far as I know, Saskatchewan is a really good area for go fishing and hunting. Some Canadiens go there for that kind of things
We plan to move there next year.Your video helps us a lot.thx
Thanks so much for watching!

Get outta here boy
I'm from Tampa Bay in Florida, and I think it would be nice to visit on vacation up there during the summer, less people and cooler.
It’s nice in small town
I live in Saskatchewan... ITS Awsome here ....
Love this... it sure is pretty awesome!
planning next year for Saskatchewan w/ my wife. From Philippines here :)
Have you ever lived any place else?...if so, where and for how long?
@@SesameStreetRacingChannel yes I have different province for 20 years.

Hey, thanks for sharing! I love both cities but for very different reasons. Saskatoon is an incredible city, through!
Thanks for this input... So, where would you prefer? Any suggestion pls. 😊

You can't walk around with guns anywhere in Canada. It's law.
Back to Blighty with you.
Why you are so irregular 🥲 I was waiting for your new post since long 🗓️🌸 You are the one, share genuine information. Blessings Your Way ✨💕💕

All these nuggets will be a huge problem for new immigrants.
The winters are just awful
Perhaps, but it keeps the Toronto people away. We like it that way.
Jack ....if you don't like Sask,Canada.....Try another province or go back to the U.K.
Thanks for watching! I actually love Saskatchewan, and love living here. Everywhere has pros and cons 😊
Convince us to like your city😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
what about work opportunities?

it's a frozen wasteland 8 months of the year.

There's a tonne of bus routes in Saskatoon and Regina.
Interesting that Chinese and Vietnamese end up in such a cold and sparse place...
Ok you just convinced me to not consider that province 😅. Specifically with the food !
