- This Minecraft story follows Zachobuilds as he tries to uncover the mysteries of a Minecraft ARG called SPCTR and figure out just what lies inside. This was inspired by my love of ghost-hunting video games and I feel like Minecraft has a distinctive lack of ghost content which is crazy because there is so much you can do with that as a topic. If you are actually reading this description comment “OMG when he exploded?!” down below so we can laugh at people together.
On a more serious note, these videos are certainly different from what many people subscribed for but they have been so much fun to make and share with you guys. I don’t get paid a lot for this content since it takes much longer to produce, so if you are willing to do any of the following things below it would mean a TON to me. I have to say the most impressive part of this was finding out that the blocks above you was in ASL. That is something you NEVER see in Minecraft and I wholeheartedly applaud that you were able to point that out.

that final beep of the compass tells me zach very much did not survive, as the beep indicated the presence of a ghost, so he most likely died at the end, so if on some off chance there is a part 2, it will most likely be him as a ghost

@@atlasrecordsrusdub9439 Francis was where I started to get just a little suspicious, I admit. But a mod that makes use of a player's microphone isn't really an out there idea, and I could see a voice-recognition program being embedded within. While the conversation was smoother than would be realistic, I thought maybe Zacho cut out parts of the scene where the box would say "I don't understand" like an old text adventure game, in order to preserve the atmosphere. That still seemed well within the possibility to me.
One of the reasons I was able to buy into this so easily was, as weird as it is to say, was the acting. Zacho didn't ham up what was happening. He wasn't acting like someone taking the game too seriously and acting like his life was in danger, like a lot of videos of this type. He was acting like a Minecraft mod showcaser getting some fun spooks. It seems like a small difference but it really does make the entire experience seem so much more authentic.
Francis probably _would_ have tipped me off if I wasn't _already_ completely and wholly convinced it was legit.

We have left analog horror and have jumped to the Minecraft horror. This islike the third completely unique take ive seen just in the last few months and i am here for it
It’s really good but not overly scary that’s not a bad thing of course I loved it. But if you want something similar check out Zeemyth he’s very good at making minecraft genuinely terrifying.
This is honest so sick! This has definitely inspired me to make my own analog horror type thing. Cant wait to see more!! Also, love how the lag connected to the ghosts for visual effects :D

I LOVE the detail of how when he swapped from his torch to his compass while talking to Francis, you could hear Chirp playing since, without the light out, the Phantom couldn't manipulate his hearing to repeat his voice!

Anyways, this was actually so intriguing. It felt SO real, I saw a really good Minecraft-Myth debunking/exploration video in this style earlier today, and this hit the EXACT vibe of an actual myth-exploration gameplay video like that. I'm highly impressed with the craftsmanship. It's clear that a lot of effort and love went into creating this, it shows. The jukebox response bit was SO GOOD. I ate that up like a good ol' birthday cake right there, it was delicious. I'd love a series continuation, but understand if the budget doesn't allow it. It works great as a stand-alone as well! This was a delightful breath of fresh air. It was just meta enough to be extremely enjoyable, while balanced with the actual crafted part. I will certainly be sending this to my friends.

Honestly kinda wanna draw something with this, but will wait to see if there's a follow up. If there isn't, well, falling down an infinite abyss sure does sound fun to draw

I like the found footage twist of the map being "creepy map i found online". Also the spooky night vision effect instead of real fullbright really adds atmosphere.

This is amazing. Minecraft has more advanced dialogue than any other game today. You can actually have a conversation with a ghost using your own voice.

never have i seen minecraft be this intense or creepy and i always though that the vanilla sound effects where the only thing that can be creepy about the game.
this is actually the first world i would call scary because it actually got me a few times with all of those custom effects.
This seems like a very interesting map to play with a friend because that forces you to talk and engage with one of the features of this map.
from a technical point of view i would be really interested to see how all of the works with no mods, i can tell mediately how this would work with mods but as a "vanila" world this must have been difficult to pull of.

Super sick story, it took me some time to figure out this wasn't a real world. Very big fan of the different ghost types, the way each were presented and the mechanics you used to explore things. ASL is also a weirdly rare code in these types of things, so it's cool to see it utilized. The ending was a bit anticlimactic, but the encounters and lead-up were all very well done.
