Like ya video mate especially as I have a vertigo ice hell and a I’m a average …..ok below average……..allright I’m crap club rider…….love me vertigo Im absolutely sure it makes me better then I actually am 👍
Hey great video! The sound and the character of the Vertigo motor at 16:10ish , that is what I love about them. No other brand of bike I have tried will pull that smoothly and is as easy to modulate the power on in situations like that. If you test other bikes be sure to find situations like this one where you can have the bike under a slight load and working at low RPM. I think scenarios like that are where the Vertigo motor shines, especially for those of us in the more realistic range if abilities. 🙂
@@talesofaclubman It was very smooth. I'm a heavyweight and it lugged me up a steep hill in 3rd as though I wasn't on top of it, but it was incredibly well behaved. My Sherco 300 factory might be a bit more powerful on the top end, but it would have stalled where this pulled me along like a tractor. I was really impressed!
I enjoyed that a lot. I met Richard from Camio last week, & bought my 300cc Doughie Lampkin 2020, Richard is a super nice guy, no pushy sale stuff, I just called in with my son for some trial equipment. The DG was on a stand & I fell in love with it😍 what you say about it was on the money, the tick over is low, but don't mess with it, ride with it, grunt they have.
I’m in awe of the Camio store - nothing like that in Canada that I know of, or the US for that matter. A Destination! Another enjoyable vid, the Vertigo looks good. I’ve always thought that a 300 trials bike was for experts ( I ride a TRS250 with a slow throttle) so your test challenges that.
Hi Dave, thanks for the kind comments. The camio shop is fantastic, parts galore. Yes the 300cc certainly proves that the new bikes can be soft on the bottom. I'm hoping to test a trs soon! Keep those feet up.
where in Canada are you? We are very fortunate here on Vancouver Island to have a trials only shop located right beside our clubs 170 acres of private property. I think from the pictures here Mototrials West is a larger facility
Just started watching live the videos pal had a couple trials bikes over the years but just messed about on while taking a break from enduro bikes packed them in and decided wanted another picked up a 2001 gasser 250 in at the minute getting top end and replate so think I’m gna give the trials a we go looking forward to it
I wasn't going to watch this episode as im not in the market for a new bike but i enjoyed it all the same and looking forward to some budget/twinshock bikes
keep up your trials videos , we like them a lot ! i have been riding trials 30 yrs now ,we build the UPB-EVO CUB pre 65 trials bike ,so gone into pre 65 trials now , great videos ! keep up the good work we love your videos and comments ,maybe one day come and have a look at our bikes ? regards ,BOB UPB.
Well done Nathan brilliant video. It’s not very easy to put over to someone how nice these bikes are, and how they feel and react to the throttle. I have a 2019250R and is super smooth best bike I’ve owned. Well done Camio 👍as well .
Hi sy, tbh it's not something I thought made much of a difference looking back. But ... the reason why I have them is because on long days practicing and long trials it saves the back. Does help you keep your head up looking forward in sections too.
I am absolutely loving my 21 vertical works, it's literally made me a better rider immediately. I think I need stiffer springs though, on standard settings it feels quite soft / not very "active" when trying to bounce and I also feel like I'm lacking ground clearance. I'm a good 95kgs with all the kit on. Do you agree it's probably too soft?
Is it only the later / current bikes that are fuel injected? I have an old beta 290 Evo that I'm just starting out on and smoothening the fuelling out low down and raising the tickover made a huge difference but I imagine it's a total dinosaur compared to this. Sounds so good off the bottom end.
Ummm very good vid av been looking at these had few difrent bike over years am crap on them but had some 300 that wa to aggressive but that seamed just right and efetles to ride. 🤦♂️ Myt have to put ma name down on one at camio
some good info, but sorry its pretty long winded, 10 mins in before u even ride it, could have been more concise and said the main takeaways in half the time, maybe tighter editing or a dot point plan before u start recording, the most useful bit is the 4 min summary at the end from 32 to 36 mins

Thanks tj, super soft friendly power the 300 was on the bottow, how is the 250?

Thanks very much, the gas gas is definitely on the list 👍 👌
Really enjoy all your videos.
Thanks Thomas, thanks for taking time to comment.

I'd say yes if ground clearance is an issue 👍
