Replacing Window Regulator on a 2003 Ford Expedition, Driver side.

I bought the window regulator for about $126 plus taxes at the Oreillys Auto parts. It took me about 1 hour and 30 minutes. I used tape to hold the window. The new regulator worked just perfect and I saved at least $200 dollars doing it myself.

This was helpful, thank you. Only thing I would add for anyone watching, and Ricky mentions part way through, but you should drop the window about 4 inches before you remove the window clamp screws. Dropping it down a bit will make removing them easier. Do this before you removing the regulator. After you remove the window clamp screws, you can push the window all the way up and wedge or tape it in place while you r&r the regulator.

Apparently Ford’s window regulators were not one of their better ideas. Had mine replaced twice and here I am about to do it a third time. Thank you for your video. You just made my life a lot easier.

Thanks for this very helpful video! Question: when you inserted the door handle into the bracket, what was your technique? Did you insert the bottom pin in first and then push the upper one in or vice versa? I ask because I'm in the middle of this repair and I'm really hoping not to break that flimsy bracket. Thanks.
