Whats interesting about Paul Mazurkweiez is that the older he got the more technical and creative he got. Most drummers do that over time then hit the plateau then downward again. He did that late. I mean he was playing very crazy around Bloodthirst, gore obsessed and the wretched spawn. You though he peaked and was like okay. Whats next but holy fuck his hands came around full speed. But one song to this day I have no clue what goes on because the recording sucks is DROWNING IN VISCERA ON GORE OBSESSED. TRY THAT ONE. He keeps trying to keep up and sprinkle in things like "woah there he goes!"
I started to listen to Cannibal Corpse only recently and I can't say I really followed how he evolved as a drummer. But yes he got very technical lately but keeps that old school raw vibe that I love in CC !
@@dylanwhitesockswatson listen to the whole album bloodthirst, its pretty short....it's like his most brutal straightforward death metal performance. I mean up there with the crazy death drummers Like Kollias, Sandoval...take into consideration 1999 too
I’ve fallen in love with Kassogtha as of the last few hours and I came to check out the drummer and realized I’ve been watching your covers for years! Good cover, this song is crazy chunky 🤘🏼
Haha! Last time I commented I was "flexing" seeing Cannibal Corpse live in Sweden ;) I guess I'm gonna have to see them again next year assuming they do an EU tour then haha. Cause this song took me by fucking storm, Erik Rutan just knows how to write absolute slammers when it comes to Death Metal honestly. Might be their heaviest since Evisceration Plague to me honestly.
Kickass. Listen to Followed Home Then Killed and Sarcophagic Frenzy for two underrated tracks from Torture.
