Man its so refreshing to hear the little human imperfections in the drums. REAL DRUMS in modern metal, with the brutal guitar tones of modern sounds. Best of both worlds. And Corpsegrinder is solid as ever I cant think of another heavy vocalist who pronounces every word so clearly
@@SIRebrum Agreed but that's kinda Randy's style, he damn near OVER pronounces for emphasis all the time. I would put Randy in the same category as vocalists like Corey Taylor. How does a band who have been around for over 30yrs making utterly devastating music manage to still chuck out absolute carnage like this. That intro is one of the heaviest things i've heard in years.
I watch dudes in their 20s put out terrible albums after they made something great.... and here the God Kings Cannibal Corpse are relentlessly crushing every single skull they walk across as they make the most consistent, brutal, phenomenal music every single album. Unreal
Wow, that first 35 seconds was way fresher than expected for a band this old. The stuff after that was still good, but I have to admit I was disappointed they didn't stay with that crushing wall sound through the whole song.
This video is the best I’ve seen from any artist in any genre in a while. Wow. Draped in a surreal cannibal dream world of blood!! And the music… grade A as usual from these guys.
Even their worst is like a 6 or 7. They average around an 8. They're like the AC/DC of death metal. Straightforward, meat and potatoes. Every album, ypu know what ypu're getting. But they're so consistent with it they they couldn't fuck it up even if they tried. They don't have to make a stellar album or die trying. They just keep being Cannibal Corpse, and that's enough.
@@Mr_Nephilim I listen to a fair amount of death metal. What's wrong with appreciating a band that knows their sound and is just fine being consistent? Not every album needs to push the limits, or be go big or go bust. Sometimes it's okay to just put out a solid, reliable album every two years. We have a whole wave of very good tecxh death bands doing the boundary pushing right now. Let bands like Archspire and Psycroptic worry about doing that shit. They're good at it. Let Cannibal Corpse worry about just putting out solid, groovy, riffy OSDM with gory, narrative driven lyrics about zombies, serial killers, blood rituals, and necrophilia
You can totally hear the type of musicality Erik Rutan brought to Cannibal Corpse. This has a Hate Eternal vibe while remaining 100% Cannibal Corpse. People may complain about Pat being out, but Erik Rutan was the guitar player that Cannibal Corpse needed IMHO.
This is why I think cannibal is the best death metal band, not only have they lost nothing over all these years but they just keep getting fuckin better every time
Another great song! Cannibal corpse has been my favorite death metal band since they came out. Chris Barnes was killer back in the day I think, but corpse grinder is a beast.
This new song feels much better than something on previous album. This is more feels like Cannibal Corpse than before. It's a great death metal composition, can't wait for the full album.
Happy Wednesday, As a musician, I try to listen with an open mind....although this is not my groove. CHEERS to those who create and appreciate it. Raise a glass high to music.
BLOOD BLIND
Music: Erik Rutan / Lyrics: Paul Mazurkiewicz
Seas of gore as far as the eye can see
Saturating the vision
Eternal hate this is not a fallacy
Contaminate all that lives
Subjugate the mind
Blood Blind
See no more for the eyes no longer see
Discernible division
Internal flux carnage filled ecstasy
Desecrate all that dies
Left lifeless
In the aftermath of a bargained fate
Torn to shreds
In the genocide that was embraced
Mass mutilations to reset the human race
Predetermined to ensure a future
Blurred murders
This sanguine flood an abomination
Countless bodies that were slaughtered
Violent death the only offer
Rotting in a vile grave was the only way
Worthless beings were out numbered
Laid to waste the only answer
Giving in to savagery most of them were slain
Ruthless manner integrated
Carry out the massacre
Killing with hostility crave to decimate them all
Flawless in the ways of evil
Thriving on malignancy
Pools of blood the earth is covered
Pawns of primal doom
(RUTAN SOLO)
(BARRETT SOLO)
Subjugate the mind
Blood Blind
Mass mutilations to reset the human race
Predetermined to ensure a future
Left lifeless
In the genocide that was embraced

They are crazy live and the music sounds even better .
I'm 32 and have been listening since I was 12 as well, bro! Finally going to see them live this September in Knoxville! Keep rockin' in the free world! \m/
Love the way this track opens. Such a good groove. Rutan really was a perfect fit for Corpse, dude. The last album with him ripped, and this one sounds like it's shaping up to be just as good.
*Randy Blythe*
@@SIRebrum Agreed but that's kinda Randy's style, he damn near OVER pronounces for emphasis all the time. I would put Randy in the same category as vocalists like Corey Taylor. Easy to understand, still powerful as hell.
I meant more specifically death metal singers who use a lot of growls. Corpsegrinder never has the "cookie monster" URGHHH kinda unintelligible growls you hear in other extreme metal
Not that I don't like that too, it's just admittedly you can't even understand some of that after you read the lyrics lmao

Since Evisceration Plague, imo.
@@ratbastard3101 agreed
I don't think they will ever release a better single than Inhumane Harvest, this one is far away from that greatness to me personally but it is still good.
I like how much atmosphere is in these songs since Rutan came on official. There’s so much room for textural stuff, cool vocal fades, chorused leads, as well as the technical excellence cc is known for
This band is a fine wine of Metal
Never gets old, never fails 🤘
Fine whine? 😂
Unbelievable. I can't think of any other band that's still bringing it and as relevant as when they started. I used to think Chris Barnes was the top singer for CC but I now think George is the BEST death metal singer.
Man I loved Chris at first when I got vile I was so confused but I feel in love with George he’s a fucking beast The bleeding still one of my fav death metal albums of all time I didn’t fuck with morbid angel death and all that shit I was a cannibal corpse guy and slayer pantera fear factory !!! Cannibal Corpse forever baby
Immolation is also bringing it and they have gotten more relevant over time.
Trevor Strnad
Corpse Grinder the GOAT. Travis Ryan isnt far behind tho.
He still sounds strong after 30 years of balls to the wall vocals. Monstrosity seems like a really long time ago...

That initial riff... hearing some good mixtures between hate eternal and cannibal corpse grooves. Bravo in adding Rutan!
I can't believe after almost 40 years ever since 1988 these guys still have it. These dudes have always been Death Metal and never strayed from their vision. They have always been in their prime too no matter what era you look at. And that is why, Cannibal Corpse have, is, and will always be my favorite Death Metal band EVER!🤘🤘🤘
This song is incredible! I literally grew up with Cannibal Corpse and was suspended from school for wearing a "Butchered at Birth" T-shirt because I refused to turn it inside out. I love this band and can't wait until this album comes out!
I hadn't heard same shirt in the early 90's and wore it to school. A teacher told me it would make a good Halloween shirt. That's the only comment I got about it.
@@aaroncadwallader9794 once visited the Westminster Abbey wearing a Butchered shirt. I wasn't trying to be edgy, but it just so happened that the group i was with wanted to take a tour there that day. I got some weird looks lool i guess that they didn't really care as long as i paid the ticket.
I really take a slap in the face after listening this . When I see the title , I said « hmm … probably just Another CC song »
Fuck no , this is CC , but better . I think Rutan give another thing , without changing the band .
These guy’s are probably 50 , and still make real death metal after 30 years … respect 👌🏻
Love seeing eric incorporate melodic elements while keeping the heavy chugging brutality the band is known for. Brutal death with melodic solos is amazing
Oh! OH!!! Erik Rutan this is so GOOD! Thank you, Cannibal Corpse, Thank you Corpsegrinder. Thank you Paul Mazurkiewicz for these Amazing lyrics. They are very fitting for this time. Alex Webster thank for keeping Cannibal Corpse alive.

I think this is the best CC has sounded in 20 years. People in the comments dissing Rutan is insane to me. Have they not heard the incredible shit he did in Morbid Angel and Hate Eternal????? That last Hate Eternal album was soooooo fucking good and the world slept on it.

These guys don’t fuck around! This is such a slow, heavy, and evil song. Great stuff! 🤘
Nobody else could have filled Pat's shoes better than Erik Rutan. He mastered some of their best albums and is now actively playing in the band. I cannot be happier this is the lineup for the Chaos Horrific album!
You know what, this is emotional.. this band man.. they got me from their first DVD back in 2002 or something.. Bloodthirst, Gore Obsessed hooked me in and from there on i was always checking what they are doing.
Rutan brought that little change, that spark! And now Blood Blind sounds fucking HUUUGE!!
thanx guys! keep going 🤘
I don't even know what to say, except I'm mindblowned by this band. Even after more than 30 years of tours and albums, they keep becoming huge and writing mindblowing songs.... I must be honest, I still miss Pat, but Rutan has brought something bigger and stronger to their riff it gives' em another level of death metal domination. They're not just a great band, they're heavyweight champions of death metal.
Damn, I am really digging this new song by Cannibal Corpse fucking what a breath of fresh air
Cannibal corpse still putting out bangers. Cannibal corpse was the first death metal band that I heard and first death metal band that I saw live. That was 30 years ago. Glad they are still here and still killing it

Is it cannibal corpse time already? Feels like violence unimagined wasn't that long ago at all. Only been a couple months since I saw them touring that too. This and dethklok in the same day is a great surprise
Reminds me a little bit of Bloodthirst. Which is my favorite CC album by far. Every song on that record crushes. Looking forward to hearing more from this one

@mr_demi_god3564 who hurt you?
Just pretty much getting into these guys. Just in time for a new album…
One banger after another, they're still a great band after all these years and never disappoint.
There is no slowing George down. The man is a beast
