I didn’t like the look of the bolts so I swapped them for arp’s

I have a b18b1 81.50 (20 over) block guard eagle rods arp c.r.b. P73 itr pistons nippon rings king bearings cometic head gasket skunk 2 pro series intake manifold and skunk 2 alpha 70 mm throttle body head is full Brian crower valve train with dual valve springs and retainers I was curious if you know if it can handle 8lbs of boost?? I’m going to run a t3/t4 tx-50e turbo trim is .63 ar rated for 200-400+ wastegate is 7 psi this is a b series turbo kit from rev9 I spent about 1K on it please reply asap I need help thank you!!

That thing will make as much power as the tuner feels comfortable with. My combo currently making 530whp on e85.

There is Always a possibility blowing a block when making more hp then designed. But I’ve seen tons of stock engines make really good Hp and last as long as the tune is good.

Yeah I’m guilty of doing that when I was younger painting cars. But the older I got the more I realized how much nicer a cheap paint job could look with a little more effort

What was your torque settings on the rod bolts with those rods ?

I used arp bolts and tq’d them to .0055 stretch
