    Sorry Ade, but I thought it looked lovely and very classy in gloss. Unfortunately the satin finish just makes it look like a wrap to me and somehow cheapens the look. However that's just my opinion! Notwithstanding that please keep the Emira videos coming, I really enjoy them.

      No worries, You have to see the original car with its flaws, and this in the flesh, to see how much better it is BUT I would have been delighted with the original look too, of course. I think this will stand out more when others in Magma are on the road.

    I think the glossy, reflective, and shiny finish looks better. This finish and wraps that also look like this absorb light and literally pops less. Almost gives the car color a dull look. I would’ve just done a protective ceramic clear coat or something similar. Also, I’d like to say, there is something about leather that will never go out of style. I think the smell, the applications, the versatility, the craftsmanship, the quality, the look, the class, and more are all aspects of leather seats and surfaces that makes leather a popular and loved option until the end of time.

    • @RevMonkey
      @RevMonkey  Год назад +1

      I certainly do like leather. Got in the C63, Ferrari and Bentley! Alcanatara does seem sportier and suits some performance cars. Remember the car is half leather and half Alcantara! It smells great!
      I believe the curves are MUCH clearer. Not even close.
      However, it is really marmite on whether one would even do this. My car gets around, people need to see it in the flesh but the original paint, though weak, is lovely.

    I think this will be like marmite some will love some not. Your original Magma was so stunning gleaming and glistening with the light reflecting on the metallic - this now just looks like a wrap and looks very flat bland colour it certainly doesn’t pop when you compare against your videos prior this work - I think in time you will want to remove it to reveal your beautiful sparkling Magma again. Detailing would of corrected the paint imperfections.

I do want to do the self healing ‘clear film’ to my Emira when it comes, but I don’t want to loose the gloss finish, I’m actually thinking of having the side door inlets wrapped in black gloss, like you can option on the Evija. Did you opt for a tint? I am thinking of banging the DB9 in there, they are literally a couple of miles from me and I could do with creating a blank sheet of paper with it and like you say worrying a lot less. I’ll mention your channel for the discount. Take care.
