I saw the note "wedding gift for Susan + Bill Nye" at 25:36 and wondered if it was Bill Nye the Science Guy! Doesn't seem to be but that would have been really cool.
Laura, you have the best thrifting adventures! West coast estate sales, flea markets, & thrift stores are magical. East coast thrifting has its moments, but the west coast wins.
Not only do I love shopping along with you and learning so much as I watch your videos, but I am always saying how much I love seeing you stage the treasures that you have found. Sometimes it’s hard to imagine what to do or see how a single item will work in a space, but your artistic and talented eye always pulls together the most beautiful vignettes it is so inspiring. Staging your treasures is what makes your videos stand out so much. That, and your amazing taste in and knowledge about the items you choose. I have learned so much watching your videos.
The picture you like might be Chateau Frontenac in Quebec, but it also looks a lot like Eltz Burg (castle) on the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier.
Laura, would you ever consider making an online short course on filming and editing based on your hands-on experience? I promise you we'll all sign up, and it will be a new revenue stream for you 😊
@28:32 That is a silverware caddy. I suppose it could be used for anything though. I recently acquired one and put in my store. And the hat you said was knit is crochet. I knit and crochet. That was a good price! So much fun on this trip! Thanks for sharing ❤
I’m positive someone already commented on the painted sketch you liked. It is most definitely the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City, Canada. Beautiful Fairmont hotel in the old city. ❤
This made me smile, my hubby and I have a family joke when anyone asks let's go out to eat, my husband always will say I'll take you to the best restaurant in town no joke it's always the stripes gas station 😂😂 I think they have good breakfast tacos but yeah he's a cheap date!! 😊
Hello Laura from Sydney Australia. I really enjoy your videos and I love your style. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an item you’ve purchased that I didn’t like. I love how you create different vignettes in your studio. I’m always thrilled to see a new video from you pop up on my feed. Ok I’m finished gushing now. Hi to Jesse, he reminds me a lot of my dear late husband Henri who always took me out picking without complaint- mainly because he enjoyed it as much as I do.
Hi Carole! I’m so glad you join us on our pickin’ adventures and thank you for the kind words! ❤️ I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s so special to share the love of vintage with our husbands ❤️ Sending love to Australia! -L
Hi Laura, Really enjoy your trifting adventures on our Left Coast (Pacific Northwest) and your International travels. The knowledge that you share with your fans is a gift that keeps on giving. It was so fun to see that you visited our local Goodwilll in Silverdale Washington on Monday March 11 the new revived 1.99 Monday's and the Green Tag special day. My girlfriend and I were in Silverdale that day about noon. You influence your fans more than you know. I picked up the little wooden stem cup that you bought and at the time thought about you and that was something you would like. I was tickled pink today to see this video upload and saw you in our neighborhood. Have fun and take care to quote Roy Rogers " Happy Trails to you until we meet again!"
Hola Laura! I Love your videos :) You and Jessie are so much fun. You inspired me to start my vintage reselling business. Thank you! :) Greetings and love from Mexico!!!
That gas station used to The Smokin’ Robinson…. They have the best BBQ I’ve had in WA!! I hail from Memphis originally so I know me some good BBQ!! I lived in Kitsap county for almost 6 years… I miss it!!
Hi Laura! I love starting my weekend with your videos. It's around 3 to 4 am for me when you post them. It's unbelievable how many places you got to in one day! You're so lucky to have so much choice. Loved the framed bird art. I would have got them too. Can't wait for the next installment. Hope Jessie finds something he loves. 😊
Love watching except estate sales😢 I’m old now thinking about selling all and it makes me cry cause I know my treasure hunting is pretty much done. But love watching you have fun and pick things I would never choose! How fun
Hey Laura! Thx for every new video that I can see from you. I lived 15 months in L. A. and since I am back in Bavaria I missed the thrift shops so much😢 We just have one, 7 kilometers away. So thx for all the work that you put in this videos🙏
Laura, I've really gotten into your videos! I love your energy & aesthetic! Would you consider creating a video on the methods you use to clean various vintage finds: jewelry, metals, linens, pillows, leather, pottery, wood etc. I'm especially interested (at the moment) in how you clean sterling silver & turquoise jewelry and vintage copper & brass, but really sprucing up all of it.🌟
Another fun thrifting day Laura!! Woman!! My husband & I were watching thinking for sure @32:47 you were going for the plates! You went for the colander instead. Those plates under the colander!! They're contemporary (discontinued in 2010 - 2012) but they are awesome! Jersey Pottery around since the '50s I think and the pattern is "Sardine Run" . Great pattern ... but I have a thing for fish, especially w/ that MCM shape/design! ❤❤❤
I adore those coffee mugs! 🤩 My Dad is vision impaired so our coffee cups have to be white on the inside so he can tell how full it is. And that has been a challenge to find mugs in my style, so thank you so much for showing those!! Now I’m off to start my google search 😂
Where is that St Vinnies and the 2 habitat stores?? I must know !! Lol. OMG I know where you are now!! I used to live close by but St Vinnies wasn’t there yet nor was there 2 Habitat stores … only one…. Gonna have to check these out!!
So cool you went to all of the places I go to thrift! Rate something 1-10. I agree with Jesse. However, I can see your point on the food and hotel rating scale.
Fun stuff! (Used to be 1-10 ratings, but yes, 1-5 is what is used for hotels, restaurants, Amazon, etc.) The raised bottom coffee mugs at the last shop are raised so that they are stackable.
Hi Laura, I love all the wonderful wood pieces you find, you have such a great style. Oh, and I love the music you play on your videos!! Thanks from Nova Scotia.
Love Harstein Island there is a great home pottery place right above the water were we visit in the summer they have great things. Nice to be able to see the whole tour of their operation. You might be picking up some of their pottery!
Krystal here😙 I love to shop up there omg Memories! Found lion head knocker jewelry Thought of you Found and bought a tiny red double decker bus tin for you don’t worry (it’s tiny) 😂
WOW you must have the best thrift stores near you. You looked at many thing I would’ve up cycled because things were made better back in the day not like the cheap stuff we put out today
Hi Laura, The drawing of the Chaûteau Frontenac in Quebec City is what was on that art work you asked about on this segment of yours. Btw~I’m a big fan of your videos and hauls. Come to Brimfield, MA sometime soon. I live in Vermont where there’s lots of great thrifting, too.
Welcome to Gig Harbor, WA! The SAVE Thrift Store is less than a mile from my home and I love shopping there for such a great cause - scholarships for the Peninsula HS kids!
Informational, educational and simply beautiful channel. There is a war in my country now, but thanks to you, I am distracted from the horror of war. Thank you for your work and my good impression.
What a fun shopping trip! Being a disabled senior, I get out infrequently. So I love going along with you younguns on your adventures
God Bless ya Betty 😊
Me too…Bless both our hearts.❤
Thank you for getting out thrifting virtually with me! ❤️
Hey! Chateau Frontenac! That’s Quebec City!!! Welcome to Quebec, Canada
I’m gonna make this happen 😆❤️
I liked the big polish pottery you didn't get.
Should have combined with Costco Haul
I saw the note "wedding gift for Susan + Bill Nye" at 25:36 and wondered if it was Bill Nye the Science Guy! Doesn't seem to be but that would have been really cool.
The painting looks like the Le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City.
It is!!! Quebec City Canada 🇨🇦
I was going to guess the same thing! I’m glad others recognized it too 😊
Yes I agree! Old Québec one of the most marvelous cities in Canada!!
yes that is exactly what i was going to say...it sure looks like it
Laura should do one of her group trips to Quebec City & stay at the Frontenac...I would definitely go as I'm in T.O. Ontario ...could drive there 😄
When I am watching your videos and you are scanning the shelves, I like to play a little game with myself that I call “Guess what Laura will pick up”!
I love Jesse in the videos. He’s a natural. I also like it when you do your shopping solo. 😊
Laura - At 20.16 - looks like it is Quebec City - Chateau Frontenac (Fairmont) at top.
Laura, you have the best thrifting adventures! West coast estate sales, flea markets, & thrift stores are magical. East coast thrifting has its moments, but the west coast wins.
So so true!
OMG.... that swung vase!!!!
I’m dying to know what it cost 😬
Me too!!

Default is 1-10. Divide in half for restaurants and hotels.
Jessie has a weird sense of humor & I love it!
The drawing at 19:42 looks like the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City.
Yes! I was going to say the same thing. Quebec is such a gorgeous city.
@@mequincoop5933 Yes it is! I live about 2 hours from there. :)
The picture you like might be Chateau Frontenac in Quebec, but it also looks a lot like Eltz Burg (castle) on the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier.

Yes it is, my daughter and son in law have stayed at the chateau Frontenac a couple of times
I had the same thought when I saw the image.
Those Jack Frakes framed cards are so beautiful! And I love the green Dryden pottery.
Totally agree. The framed cards were lovely. The pottery too.
I am amazed by your filming and editing! Love your style, your friends and family! Great videos, Laura!
Thank you so much!! I give it my all 😄
Laura, would you ever consider making an online short course on filming and editing based on your hands-on experience? I promise you we'll all sign up, and it will be a new revenue stream for you 😊

Looked a bit like a napkin and condiment caddy too.
Definitely Chateau Frontenac, Quebec City. You would love it there! Quebec City is 416 years old.
I’m positive someone already commented on the painted sketch you liked. It is most definitely the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City, Canada. Beautiful Fairmont hotel in the old city. ❤
It was my first time watching. I tuned in because I live here. It was a fun upbeat video. Thank you
I asked my young grandson where he liked to eat the best. His reply was … the Shell Station. We still laugh about that. 🤣🤣🤣
This made me smile, my hubby and I have a family joke when anyone asks let's go out to eat, my husband always will say I'll take you to the best restaurant in town no joke it's always the stripes gas station 😂😂 I think they have good breakfast tacos but yeah he's a cheap date!! 😊
I think the unknown picture could be Quebec City, Canada....

What a great trip!
My granddaughter will be stationed at Naval Base KITSAP-Bangor for 3 years, so I’ll hopefully be visiting some of these shops.
Been there, beautiful area
I am cringing with jealousy over here about the giant purple swung glass vase! Come on!!!! The one color I need! What a great adventure!
Stunnimg items!...As always- your taste is impeccable Laura !...🙏💜✨
Dryden Pottery is just down the street from me in Hot Springs. That was cool to see. Such great treasures everyone found❣

It looked like you had so much fun together. It's fun shopping with friends ❤
"You're from the future" You crack me up. Love the two tone oval ring.

Would love to see more of your decorating. You do such fun ideas.

That painting seems to me Le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City in province of Quebec Canada
Oh my gosh - I’ve totally been to that first little thrift store in Gig Harbor before! 😁
Your PNW travel thrift trips are always so inspiring!
FYI in case you didn’t know. The coffee cups are made with the “raised up “ bottom for stacking the cups.
Hey Laura! Thx for every new video that I can see from you. I lived 15 months in L. A. and since I am back in Bavaria I missed the thrift shops so much😢 We just have one, 7 kilometers away. So thx for all the work that you put in this videos🙏
I think the framed picture you liked is of Old Quebec, in Quebec City (Canada).
Well my Friday night just got better 😊❤
I love shopping with you but I wish you would show us all the prices of the pieces you pick. TY!!

Lot's of fun! Liked your finds and things that you looked at. Awaiting part 2. Cat
I knew it was Polish pottery. We took a bus trip there and bought a bunch.
Thanks so much Laura, I volunteer at the local Vinnies shop and there’s nothing I like better than to spend a Sunday morning shopping with you ❤
That long narrow dish at approximately 2:20 could also be used as an olive server.
plate lunches are the BEST! Have you been to Hawaii? YUMMM, Hawaiian food!
Love Harstein Island there is a great home pottery place right above the water were we visit in the summer they have great things. Nice to be able to see the whole tour of their operation. You might be picking up some of their pottery!
It's always so fun to go thrifting with you!🤗
I adore your videos and all the knowledge you share w us ~ I have a new appreciation for the generational items left in my care!! ☀️💚
I've heard Samantha Brown talk about how the best authentic food is often in strip malls, and I'm thinking the same goes for gas stations. Fun video!
Krystal here😙

Memories!
Found lion head knocker jewelry
Thought of you
Found and bought a tiny red double decker bus tin for you don’t worry (it’s tiny) 😂

I think I need to follow you around… you always find the great finds.
Jessie’s head nod is a good one lol!

the glass oil lamps also came with a brass stand I have 3 each with a wick.
I'm with you Laura regarding the rating of a restaurant. I would use the Michelin five star rating. The ten rating is for pain. LOL
Hi laura i think the lo g narrow dish is a watch dish, my aunt had one to put her watch on when she washed up in pre dishwasher days.
Informational, educational and simply beautiful channel. There is a war in my country now, but thanks to you, I am distracted from the horror of war. Thank you for your work and my good impression.
Wow, your in my back yard. I've been to all of those places except the one in Belfair, I'll have to check that one out now. Loved your video
I found a Wolfard 12" oil lamp with a brass base plate. Never would have known what it was had I not seen the one you found before Laura.
Laura, you shop well under time pressure! I love to see how you style the products 😊❤
Love your videos so much! Great energy and just fun to tag along 👍🏽
