As an Indonesian who loves all of these fried chickens, it’s hard to pick a favorite. But I’m very partial to Vietnamese cuisine, so I’m gonna have to go with gà rang muối. I think all the ladies did a good job reviewing the dishes that are all new to them. Good job, everyone! 👍
In Vietnam, fried chickens is not famous as grilled chicken in jars (gà nướng lu) or chicken with salad (gỏi gà). So, pls try these when you come to Vietnam.

As an Indian, I know that lot of people are not used to the real Sichuan peppercorn and might have never tried it but it is very famous in the northeastern Indian parts specifically I being a boro from the Bodo tribe can vouch that we use it quite a lot and love the tongue numbing spice of it.
Wait jathi jhaluk is Sichuan peppers? I used to think that was the normal black pepper. I am a Boro as well.

I am Chinese, I like Indian foods, especially Chicken Masala, Naan eat with butter chicken, Lamb curry is so fragrant.
Also India isnt about only Tandoori stuff. we need to showcase more non common dishes like the chinese girl has been doing in multiple videos. There is so much diverse food in india.

I think bcs, that 2 regions have the most spice varieties compares the others.. And bcs ppls in India majority is vegan, so i think indonesia have more varieties on meat cuisines.

And even though majority are vegetarian the portion who are non vegetarian is still higher than that in indonesia coz you know india is the most populated country in the world.Hence there is a vast range of non veg dishes availabe too.Infact if you heard of mughlai cuisine (which is very popular in india) its mostly non veg only.And there many regions who specialize in non veg dishes.

Walau terlalu simple juga sih ayam gorengnya, seandainya bawa jenis ayam goreng yang lain seperti ayam goreng ungkep atau ayam kremes
I'm not sure about the look of Indonesian chicken dish, the best Indonesian chicken dish for me should be boiled(half done) it first with the spices until we get the yellowish color and then we fried it, and the rest of the water can be fried with added some flour to make some crispy sprinkle(because we Indonesian love crunchy texture hahaha), the sambal looks okay, but it will be better with fresh garlic sambal out from mortar.
Anyway I'm glad with our representative, how she speaks politely and calm is definitely shows Indonesian hospitality just like my hometown. Also she gives the points of important information about our foods 👍

Ayam Goreng is like the classic version of Indonesian fried chicken. It tastes quite original. But Indonesia itself actually has lots type of fried chicken, distinct from each region, quite diverse. So perhaps, next time they can promote other Indonesian fried chickens as well such as Ayam Taliwang, Ayam Goreng Lengkuas, Ayam Geprek/Penyet, etc. They have super kick in terms of spice, and other savory flavors.

I am also Indian and the ribs are actually pretty common? But that may just be where I come from. India is a huge country after all.
Also, Tandoori chicken not being spicy at all? Not sure about that. It always has a little kick.
I think they don't have a similar source with the origin place to buy the dish from. I mean, most of dishes they served are more likely to be made by restaurant that opens and gets their ingredients mostly from Korea? So the taste will slightly differ that the original from the origin country.
As an Indonesian, I myself kinda worry that the dish won't come up like what I expected to taste like. And yeah, the sauce is sweet and has less heat there, while actually the sauce should be spicy enough for them to at least grab a glass of iced tea :(

I'm from indonesia, and i've tried almost all of each region's fried chicken (I'm sorry Vietnam). It pains me that karaage and tandoori are not mentioned at all as at least one of their favorites. Both of them taste so good. Karaage is my all time fave (because it always uses boneless thigh meat), korean 2nd, and tandoori is my close 3rd.

How is tandoori chicken even- curry?...how does that even make sense. Do they generalize every indian food as curry. Is every korean food kimchi now?? Honestly it's annoying, even indians are not correcting them. The girl in video did not even correct them on the curry description out of nowhere. Atleast take some effort to learn about food and not generalize like british people did. Do better.

@Payal._.12 yeah but that's not right na?? It's annoying that even indian spices are called "curry" . There is literally no respect to such diverse cuisine at all. It doesn't hurt to say Masala or even indian spice, that's it. Thing is we even let them get away with generalizing our cuisine. Curry is used to generalize entire cuisine and even used as slur for indian people all over the world.

Many foreigners say curry rather than spice or masala as they are comfortable with word than others. Because India is complex thing which other foreigners won't understand. Thats why India is most misunderstood country in the world.

Japanese fried chicken aka karage is very famous here in Indonesia with Korean fried chicken is getting more and more stronghold among the people. But Indian food for some reason never really took off in Indonesia aside of super tasty briyani rice. I find it strange considering us Indonesians trully love food with strong spices.

I think that sambal sauce is sweet type cause people who enjoyed it not from indonesia so the team give them sweet sambal sauce. Us in indonesia have high level of hot resistance so our original sambal is so hot for foreigner. You can see in bali, foreigner often had a stomachache because eat our regular sambal, not hot sambal. We dont fried it boneless cause we sometimes eat eat he bone. The bones will taste savory and seasoned. Maybe that's the reason our fried chicken isn't boneless

I thought vietnam would have the fried chicken fish sauce flavor. I think fish sauce may be too strong for those not familiar with it. Lemongrass flavor is a good pick, it is more neutral and welcoming. The earthy minty taste does remind people of nature. I like the vietnamese lemongrass seasoning on porkchop. I am surprised that japanese didn't get a pick, karrage is delicious.
