My favourite thing about this song is that it perfectly mirrors the gameplay in making you think "wow, this is definitely the final boss," then 3 minutes later making you think "how could I have thought that was the final boss, I am a charlatan and a fool."
When I saw him go down the first time I thought "there's absolutely no way this guy doesn't get a second phase", so I promptly died smiling in the knowledge that I'd got it right.

They were mostly surprised , because it's an indie game and not the typical triple A. Hades is one of my all time favorite video games, and I think it deserves more attention and prize than ThE lAsT oF uS pArT tWo 😂(the game was ok, there are just so many things that could have been changed :/)

As a career insomniac and someone who's problem has only gotten worse during the pandemic, I urge you both to see someone about it as soon as possible. At the moment I'm only getting a few hours of sleep every day. And they're almost never at night. I'm seeing a specialist now but I wish I had done so sooner, then maybe I'd see my wife more than a few days a week. Take care of each other. 7:43 on ("Dad Dead?") is beautiful. It's so calm compared to the previous tracks, almost mellow, but the electric guitars add this bit of lingering tension, a feeling of "Is it really over? Did...did I do it?" I really need that looped and extended on its own, it's just that good.
God, I can't believe so many people have been sleeping on this banger. Don't get me wrong, the entire Hades soundtrack is great, but "God of the Dead" is like the culmination of what makes it so good.
There’s a whole lot more after beating hades the first time so keep going at it. I think the true ending is unlocked after beating him the tenth time, and it’s definitely worth it working for it.

As soon as I heard this song, I sat down with my guitar to learn it. It is soooo much fun to play! Can't wait for the tabs to be out so I can compare notes, I feel like there are some bits where what I play doesn't completely match the original. Anyway, nice job! This game was absolutely AMAZING. I'm no good at roguelikes, took me over 40 tries to finally beat the final boss, but I still absolutely loved it. The characters, the gameplay, it was all so awesome. I'm really glad you're covering music from this game--cos by the way the soundtrack's also pretty killer XD Incredible work, man, once again.

Only other cover I've found uses some tame synth organ in place of the theremin - I think you did way better there. Take all the time you need on the craziness of The Unseen Ones, I'll jam out to this a few dozen times meanwhile. Also, have you considered covering Field of Souls? My favorite song from the first 3 zones.
