      I'm so very sorry ❤️ My uncle (dad's twin) passed on Saturday. I've lost numerous close family members in the last 2ish years (mother,sister, grandma, great grandma, 3 uncles, an aunt, and a cousin that was like a brother, and a pregnancy). These stories are definitely a welcome distraction. These and my discovery+ subscription help me quite a bit.

      Dude, I grew up over the border in the New Castle area from you, and we're around the same age. I know EXACTLY where you're talking about - cousins grew up there and family still lives in that area. Hell, my dad and uncle poured concrete right there. The more I listen to stories like this, the more I'm grateful I never saw anything when I was growing up, with as much time as I spent in the woods and backroads of Western PA/Eastern OH.

      Some Natives will tell stories of these giant wolves on two legs that are the keepers and watchers of the forest spirits, they are themselves real and physical as well as metaphysical beings. Which would line up well with some stories of people encountering "Dogmen" and feeling that it's looking through their chest and into their souls.

    I'm not sure if its just me, but everytime I hear a story that says something about a bedroom in a basement my stomach clinches up and I'm like gosh I hope they have windows or an outside exit (no exit is a huge fire hazard) but then they describe the house I'm oh its a split foyer/level and they're ok.. whoo relief.

      My bedroom is in the basement and it has windows

    • @josiegipson90
      @josiegipson90 8 месяцев назад

      @@Deerboidraws that's good, as long as they're big enough to fit out. A lot of older homes are built so the basement is completely underground, no windows or anything. Some have those little tiny windows about the length of your head...just big enough to see out. And some have a whole outside exit (like a storm shelter). My house is sorta like the one in the video. It's a split foyer, so when you walk in the front door it's about 9 stairs going up to the main part of the house and about 6 stairs down to the bottom level where our den and garage is. We turned the garage into bedrooms. Some of these type houses have the lower level completely above ground but some have it partially underground. The front part of our lower level is underground about 3 feet so we sometimes refer to downstairs as the basement. The windows are level to ground outside, they're full size though and the backside is just regular with windows and entry doors on the back and side. But yea, I always wonder when we hear these stories about how the basement is when it comes to exits. Several times in my lifespan (40 yrs) I've heard on the news where a teenager died in a house fire because their room was in a basement with no windows/doors. I might be wrong but I think those basements used to be called root cellars.

    Wolf howls can be heard 13 miles away. They are incredibly loud, and do hunt young moose calves. They also live in the correct area.
    However the specific style of killing you're describing sounds like a Mountain Lion. They snap the necks of prey, and then break up the carcass to stash bits of it all over for later, even up in trees. Cougars definitely live in Alaska so that would explain a lot of story 1. They probably found a cougar den and have been seeing the effects of one living right there.

I'm not saying it can't be something supernatural, I believe supernatural things can happen. Recently, it seems for some reason, its been being retold by many creators, and I enjoy it every time because each creator has their own special touch. So the moose story truly intrigued me. Whatever it is it is big enough and has very powerful jaws and intelligence. Moose are incredibly dangerous animals and even the biggest grizzlies will think twice about going after one. A mooses vertebrae is a thick hump of skin, bone and tissue so whatever it is is perhaps using a ungodly powerful bite or has highly enhanced muscles in its arms to cleanly break the neck, the modus operandi of each death. My theory is whatever this is skinny and grey waits in the trees and jumps on the back snapping the neck of the poor animal before it can put up a fight. I'm honestly guessing a Bigfoot that's specialized in moose hunting. The moving of carcasses might be a territorial " stay out of my hunting turf " and it knows well enough not to go any further as it is wary of humans. The ONLY animal that would even make a lick of sense that A. kills via injury to the neck and B. Brings prey animals out of reach into trees are mountain lions, as long long of a shot that is as even mountain lions will hesitate to go after moose even yearlings unless they are desperate enough. And that doesn't explain the territorial threat of leaving bits of their prey near human habitations or even scaring dogs or even digging under fences when leaping over them would be easier and quicker. What do y'all think? Did I miss any potential clues? What's your theories?

    • @masterofthecoop
      @masterofthecoop 8 месяцев назад

      On the other hand the creatures appearance is baffling in itself. I am puzzled how such an accomplishment hunter is so skinny. Each moose is a good 400 plus pounds yearling moose perhaps about 200 or so pounds. That is a substantial amount of meat so unless this creature has an incredibly fast metabolism and needs to eat often like shrews or risk going into a coma or perhaps it's rather wasteful like lions or maybe it simply cannot eat a lot due to some injury or dental issue? Smilodon couldn't eat much as it's large incisors that were brutally effective for killing had a major drawback of preventing much of its prey from being eaten. And yet unless the moose was quickly stripped of meat by scavenging birds and insects it wouldn't make sense to kill so many prey animals over such a small amount of time. That's honestly puzzling

      @ghanashyamsritharan5471 8 месяцев назад +1

      A Kodiak bears paw swipe can disembowel a moose as well. Bear can kill a moose the big ones. But of course this creature ain't a bear. A tigers paw swipe is known to crack a buffalos skull and kill it on spot. It's nothing surprising a bigfoot can do this.

    • @masterofthecoop
      @masterofthecoop 8 месяцев назад

      @@ghanashyamsritharan5471 that's what confuses me is the consistency of the exact precision of the kill area, the vertebrae in the neck. Is it possible a big Kodiak is doing this? Absolutely though I highly doubt it as Kodiaks are pretty beefy animals and last I checked aren't grey colored. Bears are also pretty messy killers. The precision and singular focus of the neck area would clue me in on the killer being a large cat. Most big cats kill via strangulation or the breaking of the neck to reduce injury and risk to themselves but this isn't a cat. The size and shape is all off. Of course I am probably incorrect on some details as I'm no biologist but still.

    Alaska doesn’t pay people to move here, you have to be a permanent resident for a year ( under their standards) before you can qualify for the PFD. Just wanted to let people know because its a well known miss conception and many people move to Alaska thinking they’ll get free money lol

    To the guy from the first story, Please tell us the stories from your neighbors I really want to hear them!! Also please tell your neighbor who lost their fur baby that I hope they can find their fur baby alive and healthy and if not I'm so sorry for their loss because I know how much it hurts for your fur baby to go missing or worse. My pets(dog, reptile or any other animals) are my children and are cared for like my 7 year old daughter is. I can't stand anyone who treats their pets/working animals like objects that don't have feelings or intelligence ALL ANIMALS DESERVE RESPECT!!!!

    My story of the werewolf: I was playing with some of my freinds, and for this story ill call them 1 and 2 now, we played for a while, when their parents came and said its time for them to go home. They left, and suddenly as they were leaving i spotted something in another one of my other freinds yard who i will call....3. It was a wolflike animal on all fours. Its eyes were a mix of grey and white, its eyes where also glowing. I looked at it for a while before heading inside and going to bed. The next day i told 1 about what i saw, we came up with the conclusion that 3 was the werewolf. I learned sympoms of being a werewolf that people believed in medevil times. Long nails, hair, thats pretty much it. He has very long nails. And his hair is kind of long? After days of figuring it out we tricked him into holding a spoon or fork that we thought was silver. Nothing happend. But i dont know, it could have been a diffrent metel. Thats all of that story, i have a skinwalker story too that i dont have here.
