  • in tonight's episode we setup two telescopes and image NGC7023 and the Andromeda galaxy, a difficult two nights with clouds rolling in and last minute changes. the plain trails whilst imaging NGC7023 were terrible.

Love seeing your whole nightly workflow, there's not many of these from a roll-off observatory like this. You could try using more flat frames to help alleviate that pesky dust spot on the camera, but not a big deal. Looking forward to more of your vids!!

Thanks for watching, it’s a right handful running both and remembering I still need to record everything, I’m really glad you enjoyed the video, I’m working on the next episode which should be fun. Thanks for your kind words and support 🙏

Try binning on your autofocus frames, bin3 made a big difference on my C8, works every time now

Glad you enjoyed the video, the plane trails killed Ngc7023 frames and then the clouds rolled over. I’m working on my new video which is going to be, either great or a major fail 🫣

Great video, worry about dust, it’s unavoidable we all have that, that’s what flat frames are for….and change your guiding display to arcseconds and not pixels, as pixels are not worth using, arcseconds is what you want to measure your guiding with…HTH 👍🏻

Great video, how many times has your dog nugged your mount, hopefully this Thursday I'm in for a clear night, first time for weeks, I'm in Essex and the weather has been pants.
