I'd make the argument that the "O" line is the under-appreciated and always essential part of any team effort. My Dad (a star running back and four-year letter man) nicknamed them "the Tank Fleet" for a good reason.
You say indiana is the #2 defense in the country like they're a juggernaut or something. Get real. I can promise you that indiana or ND are a LOT more intimidated by OUR battle tested Defense and O line than we are of theirs. .
@@JoshRumsey-w4y I disagree. I don't think that's what he was saying. He kept repeating that they're the #2 defense in the country like they're something to fret over. For you to tell me "he knows that" is ridiculous. How do you know what he knows? Speak for yourself, not for the person I'm addressing.
@@SaltyMike396 he brought up Georgia being number 30 ok defense and he said do you think they are 30th? Being sarcastic he knows that they don’t mean everything but being number 2 at the end of the season or close to it ain’t nothing to sneeze at
@JoshRumsey-w4y North Western scored 24, Maryland 28, and Charlotte scored a couple of TD's. The only team they played in the top 25 was OSU who put up 38. That #2 ranking is counterfeit. Georgia has faced the Texas D twice. Tennessee D. I can promise you that the Indiana D is not even comparable to those teams. Same goes for ND.
Anybody on our side of the bracket is going to have to be able to beat Georgia in a fist fight type of game. Good luck, beating Georgia in a fist fight.
Monroe Freeling starting at LT has made a good difference. Earnest Greene is truly a guard. Look for GA offensive line to dominate since the defensive end can’t crash the edge every play on Gunner. It opens up the run game between the tackles.
What it comes down to is us scoring in the red zone i mean we got inside the 10 twice against Texas and didn't score touchdowns the play calling has to be better when we get in the red zone
Indiana has played absolutely no one so their defensive numbers are inflated against the absolute lousy schedule that they played, I'm not worried about Indiana whatsoever they got absolutely boat raised by an Ohio State team that couldn't do anything against the 7 and 5 Michigan team and everyone knows that Notre Dame never plays anybody their schedules a joke

He knows that lol that’s what he was talking about he knows that they ain’t one of the best defenses
Absolutely

We're about to see the UGA team we thought we would see coming into the year.
I thought Texas had the number 1 defense in the country????

True… this is always lost in the conversation, especially nationally
What concerns me is that dawgs only signed 1 rb in 2025
Statically maybe but Tenn, Tx, Ole Miss, and Florida all have better D than both of the two. IMO.
go dawgs!
