My good old GSX-R K5 reaches 168 km/h in first gear and 210 in second gear, but I wonder what's the point of putting the gears so short today if the electronics then have to cut everything? However, since I'm also starting to get too old for a SBK replica, I really hope that my next bike will be an M1000XR! 😎
@@OneTwoRider it hit 268 for a millisecond.. So maybe 260😎👌, but im sure with some small tweeks it can go even higher then real 270kmh,its an amazing bike.

Watch brentune m1000xr what they did on this bike.. 100-200 4 sec and can go to 300kmph
Very fast but far from real 270...in gps thats around 255kmh

Compairing speedometer gauge on S1000XR '23 with gps i've had only 4 km/h difference at 160 on gauge and around 7km/h at 260

I would pick the one that is more likely to be stable at sustained high speeds, which i suspect is m1000xr with all the aero wings.
