If you watch iCarly CAREFULLY, you might be able to appreciate that there seems to have been an effort to: 1) subliminally influence viewers with inappropriate themes through the use of imagery, dialogue, set design/props, etc.; 2) target a certain audience which does not consist of kids (also through the use of imagery, dialogue, set design/props, etc.). In some cases, these efforts are subtle and difficult to discern, and may require a viewer to watch the episodes more than once so that the viewer can recognize, 'learn', and then associate repeatedly-used devices (that are seen/heard in multiple episodes). But, note that some peculiar and inappropriate content in iCarly is NOT so 'hidden' - for example, the use of inappropriate camera angles that highlight genital regions of actors' bodies, and of course, the BIZARRE PINK WIENER DOG SIGN that appears in SEEMINGLY EVERY SCENE which is set in the room where the characters Carly, Sam, and Freddy broadcast their web show! Something is very peculiar about the show iCarly, almost diabolical. I've seen nothing on any social media (both content and in comments sections) which discusses or attempts to describe this oddness. But then again, remember what happened in the Franklin scandal?
