It's true- but sometimes the style of teaching is just hard to go along with. I can also think of about anyone in between- including self absorbed jerks like William Orem at Emerson who wanted to be called "professor" even though he did not earn the title (literally a vetting process). Everyone has their issues- but there is a point where intent is less retentive and it comes down to the ability to connect and not make others feel uncomfortable.
