Thank you Laura, that brought chill bumps as I listened, thinking of the horror He endured. What an incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us, how awful for Him, but now we can be forgiven.
It is wonderful to see a young artist like Laura succeeding. God has blessed her with a very special, angelic voice. Enjoyed many music videos she was featured in while at Fountainview, but to see her grow and mature into the performing artist she is today, it is a joy and pleasure to see what God has done in her life.
Thank you so much, Robert! That's amazing that you have been watching since Fountainview! That almost feels like another life time ago for me. It brings back so many memories when I go back and watch them from time to time. I am so thankful for the path God has put me on. There is nothing I would rather be doing.

I am so sorry you feel this way and I hope no-one has said or done anything to make you feel more this way. I am sure you are much more beautiful than you feel, but remember that inward beauty is what matters most to God. "Beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised." - Proverbs 31:30 You are not a loser. You are a child of God and so valuable to Him that He was willing to give up His life for you. Never let anyone make you feel like less than that.

There is a big difference between the Laura Williams music sung while at Fountainview and the videos of Laura Williams music singing. We prefer to listen to that anointed voice singing: He leadeth me, In the garden and others but not this new music. The first time I listened to those songs, they brought tears to my eyes. I was shocked to listen to how you sad How deep the Father's Love for us...to me it sounded like you were sending a different message and I had to unsubscribe . My little boys 9Yrs and 8Yrs said, mommy, that one is now worldly . Sorry but it's the truth.
Hello! I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way. Lot's of prayer goes into this music and I can assure you it is all for the glory of God and no-one else.
The loving, Christian way would be to follow Jesus's advice in Matthew 18:15 and go privately to Laura with your concerns. Since I am the one playing the accompaniments for her, I would also ask, in what way has her music become worldly? Laura's voice has matured and strenghten over the years, some of the songs are more elaborate and more majestic, but that does not mean they are worldly. She sings now with much more emotion than at Fountainview. Her music does not have a drum beat, it is not breathy, not sensual; so what is it that makes it worldly?
I am quite shocked at your reply to be honest! I have to walk outside when I hear some "special items" being sung in churches, mainly because of the recorded "backing music" they use... There was nothing wrong with this music piece. I recommend you watch Christian Berdahl's "Distraction Dilemma" series of videos to get a balance: ruclips.net/video/2gEkGwxa0Ls/видео.html
I spent much time in the world before coming back to Christ, and had to go through the process of getting rid of a lot of music. Because of this, I have a very high standard of what I expect with music. What I see from Laura singing this song is that it is sung with deep conviction and that is expressed in the way she sings it, there is nothing wrong about that. Neither do I find anything wrong with the music arrangement. It does not glorify self in any way and is performed tastefully and every word is pronounced clearly and distinctly. But it is to be so with preachers as well, of which I am one. The preacher is not to talk monotone, expressionless, and with no conviction. He is to preach out of deep conviction of what truth is, and with excitement, joy, and at times with a heavy burden upon the heart. All of this directly effects the delivery. We have been counselled that to preach Christ and Him crucified without any emotion or deep stirring of the heart from the one preaching it is basically a sin. And so it should be when singing about the same subject. Glory be to God Laura. This is the most moving rendition, in a Godly way, of this song I have heard. Blessings.
@@stephenrichards1695 Thank you Stephan! I'm sorry, for some reason I only just now saw your comment. I very much agree that it should be impossible to sing or speak on topics like these without deep emotion and expression. Thank you so much for your encouragement! I appreciate it! God bless!

Down the Via Dolorosa
in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to
clear the narrow streets
but the crowd pressed in to see
the Man condemned to die on Calvary
He was bleeding from the beating
there were stripes upon his back
And He wore a crown of thorns
upon His head
and He bore with every step
The scorn for those who
cried out for his death
Down the Via Dolorosa
called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah
Christ the King
But he chose to walk that road
out of his love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa
all the way to Calvary
The road of suffering will
soon end on that hill
and his body will be
nailed upon the cross
but Jesus died in our place
so that our sins can be washed away
Down the Via Dolorosa
called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah
Christ the King
But he chose to walk that road
out of his love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa
all the way to Calvary
The blood that would cleanse
the souls of all men
Made its way to the heart of Jerusalem
Down the Via Dolorosa
called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah
Christ the King
But he chose to walk that road
out of his love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa
all the way to Calvary
