Hi pop my is Juan Rivera from Puerto Rico, I am in my 50,s an i love your work hope to learn more about your teaching, now i started working out slowly my body is not like it use to be so i try to do it easy, keep it up. Thank you from Puerto Rico with love me an my son will practice.
I like the term arm-crashing. This is term that fundamentally defines the internal martial arts, where most people fail and end up trading strikes from afar, without being able to utilize the sticking skills. Arm crashing is not about grabbing the arm, but rather making contact, sticking and manipulating the opponent's arm into a good position for further strikes and throws. Rise and Drill, Fall and T.urn Over
More footwork videos will be coming out for the triangle and square. Thank you for asking! Certain drills are introduced at specific levels of practice for attribute and skill development. Hope you're doing well!.
Of course you can. It's just what I'm teaching right now. If you're left handed, you should be doing it that way as the lead. Dominant hand first is the method utilized due to weapons orientation.

It seems you're striking and blocking with the same motions!!!
It isn't a block as much as it's a deflection of the opponent's strike as you enter to make contact with the opponent with your own strike or grasp.
