She be out of breath 1 second into a long note then stopped to breath back in the day. Very poor back then. Cringe worthy. Now she pretty much knows what's she's doing. Amy for the most part has always had a big voice when she wanted or wants to use it. She just uses it better now. Adele never had a great voice. It was good in what she picked to sing. It was never a big voice. Amy could sing rings around her without breaking a sweat. Not that Adele is bad. She's just not in the same league as Amy. It's not even close. Few are.

This whole experience or “journey” is so surreal to me, I am unable to express that to anyone

I agree, but 1/2 of your praise should go to the sound engineer and his crew for how they mic'd dude's kit. One of the best sound designs for a drummer I've heard. Extremely well handled.

Based on an interview, this is what the song was originally supposed to be without the male vocalist. I like them both, but it’s cool to see them playing it as originally envisioned before the label got involved and made them add a male vocalist to the track. The album version really helped the ride the rock/rap wave and is a big part of the reason we even know who these guys are, so it’s hard to hate on the original since it pushed them to mainstream popularity, but I really like this version a lot.

Anyone who can hear her sing this and think, "we need a male voice here." Shouldn't have a job in the music industry. It was criminal what they made Amy do to this song in the beginning.

I remember the first time I heard the song was only a glimpse I caught on MTV, and then went online to see if I could hear the full version, and what I found happened to be the DemoV1, which sounds very similar to the Bliss Mix, just less heavily produced, and I couldn't even tell that it wasn't the official version (later I found the official, and thought that was like a special version for the single/video release). Though when they dropped the rap and the "third verse" from their live performances, I was kind of hoping they'd fill in that gap with an instrumental piece similar to the guitar solo on DemoV2
Evanescence was one of the first rock\metal bands I listened to when I was a young teen and immediately fell in love with Amy Lee 💖 seeing her sing Bring me to Life these many years later, and stronger than ever, makes my heart so happy
