Thanks for this video. Was linked to this from a GS group on FB. I had no idea that they outsourced to another company to make this adapter. You made very short work of it. Not hard at all. I can't wait to get this kit down the road to swap my shitbox gs300.
@@tarzansadventure6625Sweet cant wait! I actually just saw that they offer the Trans mount on their website. I was on Fisch website and they didn't have it until i looked around more. You bought a custom Driveshaft or you had the stock one modified & if so how much did that cost you?
Randy Maganis yeah the serial nine mount is the way to go. Hit up Fisch or Serial nine before you install to ask about where to clearance your trans tunnel. Just some light hammering. But you have to get a custom one piece driveshaft which will be a lot stronger. The stock two piece isn’t worth modifying.
@@tarzansadventure6625 alright I'll make sure to do so. Thank you for the information & knowledge much appreciated. Been wanting to do the swap for a while now. So far I've only found the Collins Driveshaft maybe I'll go with that one if i can't find anything or I'll just ask Both Companies about it.
@@tarzansadventure6625 yea just installed one on my supra dont know if the welds were off on this one but mines all the way right stuck right at 5th and 6th annoying gotta call these guys. Love the feel of the shifter that's my only problem with it
Bought my serial nine kit a little while ago, still haven’t done the install yet. Always nice watchin other people go through the steps first
sfayer90 honestly pretty simple to do. Just take your time.

3 yrs later do you still like it?
Best in market for sure 👍
So if one of those rings fit that means you do not have the latest cd009 therefore not having the stringer synchro one?
Did you have to do any other cutting to the cd009 to install those 2 adapter kits other than the bellhousing??
On the trans itself you just cut the bellhousing.
What clutch did you use? Reckon you could fit a twin plate in there?
Fisch/serial nine kits have the choice of either a single plate clutch flywheel or one for a twin plate clutch!
What about the transmission mount you received?
I used the serial nine gs300 trans mount
@@tarzansadventure6625 I would love to see how yours was installed with the energy mount
@@Kyle_Coffman message me in Instagram @benmelickfit and I’ll try and get a pic for you.
What driveshaft and Transmission mount did you use? Im planning to do My IS300 soon.
Custom driveshaft and I’m using the serial nine trans mount. I’ll post a video really soon about swapping it in and all.

Randy Maganis Collins driveshaft will be a different length most likely. Because they’re kit doesn’t place the trans in the same place
Is your shifter in middle position between 3 and 4th??
Yeah it centers like oem

That’s weird! Yeah definitely doesn’t sound right. Yeah hit them up for sure.
