Poland used to make the best yachts in the world, after a rather long recess, the shipyards there are coming back, thanks for the, nicely narrated video.
Wileys boat reviews are always top shelf and excellent in quality and narration. We will be looking for a 48 plus cat in the Spring and I know who I will be calling.
Amazing boat, and after looking at a lot of options, given the ability, this would be the one I would buy. It's got all the features and capability, and it has a very low-slung elegant stance in the water that just grabs my eyes. Part of me would like to see Sunreef offer a pure motor version for those intimidated by sails. As to this design specifically, I love the choice of veneer, but overall the look is a bit dark for my taste. I'd want to counter it with some medium light contrasting pieces, and definitely lighter toned linens. A two person crew capable vessel at 74 feet?? This is an owner/operator's dream on water. Excellent video, despite the rush, and on the longest of shots, waiting to see you do a walk through on the Sunreef 114 Che. Now THAT will be an amazing boat to explore.
I like the walkthrough, I would be interested in what the crew quarters and engine rooms looked like however, to get a better idea of work environment for crew....
Hey Wiley- I have been looking at the Fontaine 67, the Sun Reef E 60 and the Sun Reef 68 supreme. I have not been on board a Sun Reef 68 supreme but I believe it’s my favorite layout. What do you think about the Supreme v.s the other boats I mentioned?
Super nice boat, rather have this than the 80. Of course I'd love if Wiley got his hands on the 80 Carbon. :) Maybe they'll build the Ultimate one day.
With a big cat like that, you should have an Expandacraft modular boat of some kind on board. Expandacraft is a modular multihull which fits in small spaces and can transform into all sorts of watercraft. Row, paddle, paddle, sail or motor, it's like the Lego of boats
Hello, Mr. Wiley Sharp, this 74 Sunreef, it will be the CAT I will love to own. I am coming into some serious money. To own a boat exactly the same design and size as the one you just showed in this awesome video, USD wise, what will be the price to pay for such an amazing beautiful CAT? Antonio, the 18 wheeler
Nowhere, Sunreef with all their experience would never have thought of that problem...idiot! They pump it up to the sky bridge so that gravity can funnel it down special pipe back to the sea !!!
The same way a cockpit on a mono would drain. It isn't something to worry about. That one there will probably completely drain from full in 30 seconds.
Hey Wiley I enjoy your videos please keep it up! It's a nice bit of escapism from the landlocked life I lead in the Midwest. There's a question that comes to mind every time I see a catamaran review and it is this: what is the average weight limit on those trampolines on the average catamaran? I'm 6'4 about 325 pounds and everytime I see people walking on those I picture myself falling right through the damn things into the drink Thanks again for all the places you've taken me.
Would this be a good boat for owner operator for a family, also which is the better of the two a lagoon 620 or the sunreef 74? Would the two make good cruisers for the long haul.
Wiley as I am not rich but would love to have a boat in 4 to 5 years as a retirement to sail around the BVI what is your thought on getting one around 42 foot as a charter to make the payments? Any insight would be helpful.
Wiley, congrats on all videos, they are great....i want to ask you, is there any videos of some 30-32ft catamaran's?..seems to me that you are making videos of 38ft+ catamaran's only?...regards from far faaaaar away.....
your video rig does not handle dark spaces well. why not add a mini LED array to your rig? the 74's galley is amazing - you should have looked at it more slowly and comprehensively. ditto the flybridge: you dealt with it too fast, probably because there were people there. nothing wrong with doing separate clips for different parts of a boat: wait for the flybridge to clear and then do your clip!
one feature this boat has that's not on the Diana is the front deck. I imagine a wall of frosted securit glass cutting the saloon in front and backspaces at the level of the mast, so the owner can have privacy: crew go in and out of their rooms and exit by the front. steps giving access to the flybridge would need to be added. chef could serve meals to crew on front deck. also, the owner's bedroom should have its own flight of stairs, at the back - forget the humidifier and wine cellar nonsense.
Diana and Calmao have vastly superior interior designs. Chrissy is so 1980s trash. a plus that Chrissy has over the two others is the decking on the hulls' decks as well as the flybridge.
@@catamarancentral ...its a q of safety .., so bad answer ..!!!!!..there are "smart" sailors ...but also real sailors following descri. of boats on y-tube ...
Why anyone would buy a cat over a mono hull i just dont understand! Cats look ugly and the layout on the main deck is not separate! On a mono hull you walk into the main deck you have either the saloon or galley and dianette! Both separate from each other! In the saloon all the seating faces the large pop up screen tv and a forward helm! So if you want to relax and watch tv you can and others can sit and talk in the kitchen area! Not to mention docking fees are double compared to a mono!! on the main deck of a cat its just one big square with no separation ! Look at the TVs on this boat you cant even see them from saloon seating! Were actually is the saloon on this cat??? Its all stuck together!! Yes you get more space on a cat but its impractical for having separate lounging and dinning areas!! Their probably good for sailing but motorized forget it get a mono hull!!⚓🛳
How to recognize an American designed yacht ? Endless amounts of useless settees ! Compare this design with designs by people who actually use their boats and you will understand what I mean. The hull has opportunities, but it needs a complete refit.

Best catamaran videos on RUclips.
Glad to see you back Wiley!
Beautiful yacht! Thanks for sharing.
Another great video and narration Wiley and of course a really nice boat tour... thanks and best from HKG
Nice job buddy and a beautiful boat.
Wiley, you do a good job showing these boats, but I would like to see more of the technical/mechanical details - plus the crew accommodations, etc.
Love a good pano. Enjoy your vids wiley
This Sunreef 74 is a wow for me. This is nice...
I want One. Can you customize the colours? Because I don’t the colours
The Kitchenette is downstairs, very good ideal, the Salon is clear and great

They do. Check their website

I'm always concerned about the crew environment. For me it can literally make or break a boat.
lovely boat but i gotta ask what the hell was that gold monstrosity at minute 3:12 i must know more
yes i want to know as well.
Good eye ureil1, I had to go back and look twice. It's hideous isn't it?
@@catamarancentral - Show us some pics Wiley, so we can form a better opinion...thanks
@@catamarancentral thanks for the reply. now that i can get a better look at it its also a cool boat but why the bond villain gold paint
It's Sunreef 40 open power Diamond limited edition :)
Just one word: Wow!

Good timing on the review, not too slow!
Definitely just a walkthrough, a teaser.
Master cabin style and color theme reminds me of an 80’s porn pad...
I know but it’s great!
Thanks Wiley, top review. 👍
ANOTHER great video Wiley. Could you comment on the aluminum hulls on some Sunreefs. >Cheers!
Thanks for the vid Wiley - style wise I think I'll pass! Have a great 2019!
Great surf Wiley. Have you upgraded equipment? Quality seems level‘ up.
Damn!!! Fine boat

Is this boat for sale
At 3:13 the gold boat next slip looks like a Bond villain would drive it. Or probably an Eastern European, those guys love gilded everything.
I'll never be able to afford such luxury, but I like to think I prefer the layout of the Lagoon 620! Or even the Seventy7at a push.
What a boat...
How much is this beauty?
Riley, what's the cat at 2:40?
Sunreef signature 68 power
Where does that built in swimming pool in the front deck drain to when you hit rough seas?
Nowhere, Sunreef with all their experience would never have thought of that problem...idiot! They pump it up to the sky bridge so that gravity can funnel it down special pipe back to the sea !!!

The cat is great. Only door side for the video - buy an iron for that shirt!
Do you deliver to west coast of Canada?
Is it possible to equip and automate this boat so it I can sail it singlehanded?
How does someone ever learn how to operate and sail a boat like this?
Time and training.

As interior designed screams 70's "shagmobile." Am I wrong?
What would something like this cost brand new?
About $4 million US, depending on options.
That's a lot of boat!!!
Do they make power cats??
Of course. Most cat' builders make both power and sail versions.
Do you have used cat's?
If not where, where is a reputable place to look for a used cat?
crew quarters?

Gaudy monstrosity. But great vid as always.

I thought I saw a Baby Grande Piano in the salon.
Road Toad that’s my dream, to put a grand piano on a catamaran and sail the seas while playing.
For a boat that big, it should be bigger...
Thanks Wiley. I'm a fan of Sunreef's but this boat did not do it for me.
Too rushed. Didn't get a good feel for the boat.
the Diana, a carbon version, has a proper, tasteful interior design; this one is in such bad taste :(
Diana and Calmao have vastly superior interior designs. Chrissy is so 1980s trash.

I know Diana very well. I've spent quite a bit of time on her. Super nice boat.
For a "real" sailor it would be important what drive you have in the engineroom... many of you making theese video`s forget that ..!!
99% of the people that buy a Sunreef will never enter the engine room. Their captain or engineer will be doing the work.
