I like the 88Sail but my fav boat would be the 100 ECO Sail. Solar panels everywhere...everywhere. Or the 164 set up the same. But the most incredible creation will be the Power210 when someone decides to have it built. I give major props and respect to the creator of these fantastic catamarans. I've seen others but none of them measure up to Sunreef's creations.
I would have liked to have seen the forward crew cabins. I’m pretty sure they were not shown because essentially they are coffins. Apart from that, The yacht is stunning.
I hear you. there small but not coffins. on the day of shooting honestly the reason was that we did not have had enough time. will try to show more often every part of the yacht. not always feasible though 🙏
it's my dry Swiss way of trying to be funny. This compartment is actually called the "cheese box" by the crew, as thats where they put their shoes... cheese, Switzerland etc. thought its a funny name for a shoebox. But I take your comment as a hint to work on my humor or the way I present it.
I must admit I really like this yacht in both interior layout (main deck cabins, galley down) and exterior appearance. What I want to know is what is behind the upper row of windows? Can't be another deck because it's too low. It looks like there's a lot of space between the flybridge and salon ceiling, or am I looking at it wrong? Why call it 'double deck', the helm station?
there is double ceiling height in the saloon, which makes this a very spacious saloon. look at the 3D tour on our website, there you can zoom around in the 3D Model and will understand better how the interior space is designed here
The crew cabins access is port or starboard front exterior hatch only. Pretty stupid if you need access during a storm. Imagine going in or out during a high sea, what were they thinking?
Congratulations, you found the weakspot. We had a long discussion if we should correct the video there when I talk about Queensize beds. Actually its not queen size but even bigger than King size. As I also mention the actual sizes in centimeters we voted for keeping it that way and to rather publish it sooner than later. So please ignore the queen size comment and just listen to the measurements in centimeters.
The Sunreef sailing catamarans are big, heavy and slow. With it you can sail from anchorage to anchorage or from port to port. However, floating castles are unsuitable for blue water sailing.
I think "big' is a sough after feature on some.of these. About heavy? Maybe, they have good equipamient, luxury... Slow? Maybe not fast, as there ate faster ones, but this is a pure cruiser (I fon't think it would be slower than a similat length monohull, in common cruising conditions). Seaworthy for bluewater? That is the point, but they have all the required certifications, and then, well, you can rely on your weather windows, Indin't think it had to be dangerous or specially problematic, you just be sure to follow the reef early rule, you are not there to beat records or fly a hull
Being big is not a disadvantage at sea. More stable and comfortable certainly. And while a Sunreef 50 might not be a particularly fast cat, something this long is generally going to have good legs due to a high hull speed (even if it is a bit heavy). I would guess she sees 10+ knots more often than not. For perspective, most sailing yachts crossing oceans every year are sub 55' monohulls that are slower than this - so how fast does the original poster need a boat to be for blue water sailing I wonder?
we sold it in 2022, and the current owner is open to sell it again. are you interested? if so pls send me us a message: www.breezeyachting.swiss/contact-us/
Сочувствую . Скрепя сердце , но все же досмотрел до конца видео ролик этого невежи . Правда заткнул уши , чтобы не слышать , что он говорит . Вот так ! Со мной шутки плохи !
Good boat. Disappointing living areas and rooms. Like going to an old fashioned 3 star hotel. I would imagine that if you spend so much money you would expect something more interesting and exciting. Shame
again I have to defend this yacht, as already indicated in above comment of dear Mr. Tilley. I will not try to write another poem, dont worry, be silly. ahhm.... ok she's built to be a real world cruiser, to be both pragmatic and comfortable. eg having round corners and rounded edges everywhere, as when you are in some far away caribbean cruising doing a long leg on beautiful sunny weather but riding bog long waves of 5m you wont hurt yourself. but sure, theres different taste's, just important to understand whats the mission
the captain would disagree with you as he sailed her 5 times to the caribbean and she sails exceptionally well. of course its still a sailing cat and not a monohull. I have also been onboard when sailing, so it does sail.
@breezeYachtingSwiss Whatever. It's just too heavy to sail well. No amount of marketing or sales hyperbolae can change the physics. This cat is over 90 tons. Even a heavy displacement monohull like an Oyster 885 is only 75 tons or so, and Oysters are too heavy to sail well. It's a condomaran. It has the weight, drag, response and sailing ability of a cathedral. It's not for sailors.
@ i refer to your comment that its not a sailing cat. Im saying its sayling well for what it is. if you are a sailor that loves light speedy performance sailing vessels then its not for you. its for someone who likes to have a lot of space and comfort on board but still be able to sail.
@breezeYachtingSwiss "still be able to sail" as long as it's downwind and more then 18 knots. Anything else you better motor. I would be interested to know the fuel consumption motoring at 9 knots or 10 knots....
I have to defend this yacht, my dear Mr. Tilley. so dont make your comment to be silly, as onboard as well I ate pasta, with some chilley which was simple but so tasty and for desert we had some pastry. whats the point one may ask? as broker who has sold this, its my task!
Ive been on this boat.
The space on it is crazy, like your walking in a villa, really a fantastic boat!
I think this is the best arranged big cat I have seen
true

Hate when they do not show the full boat

I always look at crew cabins first. If I can’t live in them I look for another yacht.

where would you place them and which space would you sacrifice for it? also there are additional crew cabins, check out the layout
Those Queensize beds are TWO QUEENSIZE BEDS together…. RIGHT?

The Sunreef sailing catamarans are big, heavy and slow. With it you can sail from anchorage to anchorage or from port to port. However, floating castles are unsuitable for blue water sailing.
I know what you mean but this one did some pretty great bluewater sailing trips, so the captain would definitely challenge you on this

So this yacht is about 2-3 meters longer overall than an 80 footer? Give me eco/sail with hundreds of solar panels all the way to the top of the mast.
❤ Superbe Space And Really Well Built ❤
you're right
now we need to see this cat sailing
Gracias ❤❤❤
could someone elaborate on this "unlimited cruising" and why this thing with the glass windows instead of polycarbon/plexi?
uhm, double glazzed.
What is the deal with this? It is for sale, it sold? How does one know?

Has this yacht ever been struck by lightning ?
If so send it to the scrap heap because the hull is compromised !
So salty ; )
no it has not been struck by lightning. its one of the best maintained yachts out there, all maintenance records fully available.

That ISN'T a sailing catamaran. It's a motor sailor at best. Really it's a motor boat with steadying sails.
the captain would disagree with you as he sailed her 5 times to the caribbean and she sails exceptionally well. of course its still a sailing cat and not a monohull. I have also been onboard when sailing, so it does sail.

Nowhere near as nice as a Lagoon
A yacht built like that would be much easier to defend against hostile, warlike, belligerent and, possibly, *anthropophagous* Pacific islanders.
