I have a pair of Partybox 710, and I have also noticed the same thing. But, it is not so simple to explain, because all of those partyboxes have sound profile output controlled by DSP. When amplifier and/or drivers/woofers reach their maximum, DSP will not allow increase in the current of the amplifier, and only continue to add volume in the middle/treble range, because it requires less current (less coil movement on higher frequencies). Without DSP protection, amplfier and drivers would continue to have linear increase in voltage and current, which would result in the high distortion and damage. The bass cut off level depends on the level of recording, bass boost and the level of the equalizer. On a flat equalizer and no bass boost, speaker will amplify sound profile more linear above 50 % volume, but it will always have cut off. Anyway, I think all f those JBL partyboxes are amazing speakers

That is because it already reached it's maximum output for bass, it has bass limit cut off, if it does not have that, all those who does not know how to properly use the speakers will blow up those woofers and ask for replacement because of their dumbness. So if you don't want to have a bass cutoff feature, you should just build your own speaker setup

And every jbl partybox's bass is absolutely enough around 50 to 60% volume depending on the place you're using them specially if they're in the corner of the room... that's crazy

If you put the bass in the eq to minimum the bass rises up to 100% volume but it seems much weaker at lower volumes because we already experienced a boosted eq and like u said it maxes out at 50%

I think the Partybox Ultimate the best bass and is sounds deeper

Yeah you should buy speakers based on 50% being the ideal level of listening volume. Going louder makes it harsher.

When you put the 710 head to head with these latger speakers i think it's already a big win for the 710

Those partyboxes, boost bass too much at those low volumes, and then they are just keeping this bass up to the maximum
