Adams, “Old School”) a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout, as his associate. As he becomes enmeshed in this unfamiliar world, Mike relies heavily on the firm’s best paralegal Rachel (Megan Markle, “Horrible Bosses”) and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna (Sarah Rafferty, “Brothers & Sisters”) to help him serve justice. Imagine booking an appointment with "Dr. Lipschitz" and being surprised when they're German
Lol
Funny
German and Jewish. Lipschitz, I believe, is a German Jewish name.
i thought jessica or someone else was the one to send him to therapy so he didnt know his name or anything prior?? i dont remember the specifics
@@red5llaw yeah, it's an ashkenazi name but most ashkenazim are not german nationals so maybe louis was right to be surprised he was german but wrong to doubt his claims of jewishness (assuming louis knew)
I think balancing Louis as a character that can be so insufferable and antagonistic at times, but incredibly endearing and sympathetic at others, is a masterclass of writing. I'll never understand how the show was able to redeem him so thoroughly by the later seasons.
it's because as an audience we get to see Louis when nobody is around or paying attention to him, so we see his true colors.
Harvey had a really hard time forgiving him most of the time because he never got to see behind the mask as often as we have.
@@jacksonrae2785 what? psychobabble much?
I'm German American
Louis judges
It's because they controlled the reason why you hated him. It's like Ahsoka Tano, they did the exact same thing. It's a writing technique for creating growth in characters
The reason people love Louis is that he grows as a person and as a character. We all have aspects of our life that we wish we could improve or get rid of so does Louis. Louis is the everyman in this show. When he grows and sussedes then we all feel we can too.
you just susseded at making me chuckle 😂😂
wow the reason people like a character is because they have character development? What an in-depth analysis lol.
Dr. Lipschitz has got such a wonderful voice! I could fall asleep to that!
Thank you for adding this. Lipschitz is one of my favorite peripheral characters. Lipschitz's introduction was the needed component in Louis' character development.
Holy S*** you can just see the Character development begin for Louis in the last scene i love it
Lipschitz is underrated
2:32 I actually feel like I needed to hear this part
Jessica saved Louis’s life so hard.
Louis at first therapy: I'm not doing this
Louis latter in the series: how dare someone gets my therapist into legal trouble and how dare you, a nitwit, represent him
louis is a wonderful character
He is definitely the better therapist compared to harvey's 100000000%
Indeed! Professional, ethical and keeps his emotions in check.
AGREED!!! And Stan should’ve been Harvey’s therapist to begin with.
There are so many facets and layers to Louis. By far the most developed character on the show.
The doctor is Lipschitz continuous
average giga chad therapist
Louis is hilariously childlike, unpredictable & not easy to handle.
The doctor from Rugrats? Lol
best charachter in the show and one of the best written in tv
This hit me hard
Where's Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil when you need them?
cross between Marlon Brando and Superman
Therapist's mind: "Wait.. Superman.. Marlon Brando as Jor-El...- "
👄 💩’s 😂🤣😭 just slips off the tongue 🤣
This scene is so funny
I never heard of this show, but it looks very interesting and the acting is very well done. 👏
You should watch it! Amazing show!
@@Dom_WotilaWill do! Thanks
Season and episode please?
It's 9am and all the lights are on?
GO LOUIIIIISSSS
Was someone a Chicago fan? 🧐
kinda wish i knew a jewish/german doctor like dr.lipschitz, maybe i would not have so much hatred and first solution to a problem would be violence
Marlon Brando and Superman 😂
Lipschitz is a Jewish name. Louis should have known that.
Venn Diagrams 🤷♀️
i'm actually with louis on this, the guy sounds like the evil computer from captain america winter soldier
😂😂😂
I thought he was a dentist?
General question: Is therapy really as effective as portrayed in TV shows?
With the right doctor and enough time.
@@bobbierobinson6269 Thanks for your reply.
That entirely depends on both the patient and the therapist. Its not a one size fits all we see that with Harvey and Paula
However if the patient doesnt want to get better as it were then you are talking to the brick wall
Louis although very antagositic and combatove knows he has insecurities and wants to be rid of them deep down
His defacto method is too push people away with words and volume whenever something happens which his physce cant handle at that point in time
Its a very common defence mechanism thatbis unfortunatley maladpative like a self fullfilling prophecy in a way
Lipschitz is used to deal woth trouble people that come at gim worse than Louis ever could, however rather than throwing it back at him he absorbs it and shows compassion and understanding that Louis never had
Therapy also requires that the patient be truthful about themselves, you often hear leople talking about how they feel raw after therapy
Its about peeling back the layers of coping mechanisms and fascades you built up around yourself, having to look in the mirror see yourself warts and all and look at healing that pain and trauma
It is not easy going to therapy, shows will often speed through the process for sake of plot and storyline reasons, some people can have revlations in small peroids of time but most requires years of sessions to get to the crux of the problem
The human mind is a fascinating thing
Apologies for this being very long in the tooth but the topic of therapy is one close to my heart being in therapy myself
Isn't that the name of the doctor that wrote parenting books on the rugrats?
Is no one going to talk about the fact that his name is Lipschitz. If you've listened to Chicage, you know the joke.
Nahhhhhh why they called him lipschitz
Because its a jewish surname?
Rugrats😂
Rugrats didn't invent the name Lipschitz
It still amazes me how normies make it to the big leagues, even as an associate
Dude reminds me of Harvey Weinstein.
Am I the only one who deeply dislikes Donna?
Yes, you are the only one.
Nope, you're not the only one
