@@BackGardenGarage I’m desperate to get 4 - ends beaded but of course companies don’t do small batches and I do not have a lathe to make the size I require. The aluminium bends I have made for 2 - radiators I’m mounting on a hybrid scooter I’m building. Their size is 16mm od x 13mm id can you recommend size of bolt and ball bearing I should use. I’ll then have to cobble up a drawing then tout it around locally to get it made up, unless you take orders.😉
@@angusfairweather6825So I used a M10 bolt with a 6mm bearing, I found that gave a good bead profile. However it was on 19mm od tubing. So maybe a M8 with a 5mm may be better for you. But to be honest I was just winging it with parts had lying around. As a side note the threads in the aluminium collar didnt hold up for long,, making it from steel would be better
Brilliant!please have a beer on me

@@BackGardenGarage thanks for the ideas, I’ll give it a go.
Well done, very clever.. how do you think it would go on mild steel auto trans lines...
It would depend on wall thickness, but it would struggle I think, the threads in the alloy collar were tired after a few times.
