In the word sword, the w is not pronounced, but it does turn the o into a diphthong, it becomes u-o, as one vowel: suord. It doesn't sound like sord.
I'm from Bangladesh. Though it's not okay to tell about someone without information but I would like to say you are a semi-Native😁. But you're very helpful for beginners whose want to understand native's words.
Does it natural?? Structure and Lexicon.
Fraud 🤣🤣
Thank you
you are very nice person 🤗your channel was the first channel I started to learn english with , you're helping me so much with pronunciation , thanks for making people's english comprehensively articulate
Very good examples! But even US native speakers struggle with English words that come from foreign languages. Case in point: Entrepreneur. It comes from French meaning "one who undertakes" (a project, business venture.)
In America it is often pronounced "entre-pre-noor" because the "eu" sound doesn't exist in English. "Eu" should be pronounced like the "ir" in "circle". Alternatively, say "neur" like "nerd" without the d at the end. Or the er sound as in "early".
So "entre-pre-nEr" instead of "entrepre-noor."
Another difficult one is "connoisseur" which is pronounced quite differently : connAisseur.
What's more, these pronunciations may be different in different parts of the US. You'll hear "Uh-merica" instead of "America."
The "ir" in circle, isn't that basically a schwa? Because a schwa, IIRC, is basically the most commonly pronounced vowel in English.
Do you use subtitles in your videos to understand you better :)
Whats the song name in 3:18
Please make cooking shows as well 🙏🙏🙏
What is the most important thing I do in the morning to learn English please reply
I think pronauncing (second f) in fifth is more easier than pronauncing sound /s/ in sixth. maybe pronouncing as sikth is more easier than siksth 😊
Thanks
this vdo help me a lot...thnks Linguamarina
This video deserves to get more audiens
Thank you im from Morocco
Good tips LinguaMarina
Can anyone give more examples with a word subtle?
I want to improve my English
🦄Thank you u helped me to improve my accent. U know the is kind of messy english i really like it.. 🔮 I smtimes talk in American accent bt people don't understand them here 🦄🔮😊🌸
Nice, how do you do ?
From India "karma" word is the most mispronounced word I have ever heard
Honestly don’t ever hear people pronounce status as you said is ‘correct’. I always hear it with a short ‘a’. Also didn’t agree with niche. And for brands I would say go with the pronunciation of the country it came from - we Americans pronounce Adidas wrong so I would go with how it’s supposed to actually be pronounced. A fun one for you to pronounce is pralines - a sweet treat. In Louisiana and surrounding areas they pronounce it praw-leens, but others say pray-leens. So even within the US you’ll find words pronounced differently.
Love u marina.❤️
Beautiful ☺️
I adore the american accent , it sounds so familiar and good!!!
Same here!
Lots of love from Sri Lanka ❤
Take love from Bangladesh 💚❤️
I love your videos. They are awesome. I wished l could see you

How nice you are when you speak hindi -English hhhhh❤
Why do you call a sidewalk pavement, even when it isn't made out of pavers? Pavement is a type of street surface, just like gravel, asfalt or concrete.
In India

Mam kindly start the preparation of SAT exam .
We want the explanation of words thanks
Please help me i have a speaking test after a few months and I need help I've been trying to improve my English speakibg skills but I can't please I wanna sound like a native American please help me
Aheeem
Nope, is not correct nether in that way "bruschetta" 😅
There is a double T
So, the sound should be like "t" able
In addition, "status" is Latin....so, again, if you want to be academic, you should pronounce in Italian way
Said that, thanks a lot....I mispronounce most of the other words
British English definitely doesn't pronounce the L in salmon - as confirmed in the included clip!
It doesn't make sense to insist on brus_chetta but alter "TT" to "d".
In Bangladesh
Most of the people pronounce lipstick as "libishtik"
When I was a child
I also made this same mistake repeatedly
Hell yeah 😂
