Dear Marina I would like to contact you. $ business proposal...
Dear Marina, I have a suggestion. Is it possible when you're taking about how to pronounce a word, keep that word on screen till end of description? I believe this way learning the right pronunciation gonna be better.
Lovely 🥀👄🌹🌷💋
That would indeed be good.
Estaría bien para la gente mayor que se olvida rápido de las cosas.

?Can you also help me
In Indian languages there is no concept of silent letters, we speak exactly the same we write. Unlike English where for example C is s/ch/k and many such letters who represent more then one sound but in hindi one letter strictly represent one sound (11 vowel, 35 consonants makes alphabet) . We just learn English without searching for logics . Everytime a silent letter comes i am like why did you write it when you don't spell ?😕😳😳
Same things I think
Thanks Marina for your content. I´m a brazilian pilot and your videos have been helping me to improve my english skills for ICAO English Test. Lovely 🌹🥀❤💓👄💋
Thank you Marina for this wonderful lesson, I hope I wouldn't do the same mistake twice when it comes to pronunciation.
Marina, can you make a video on how to write essays? Like without repeating same words and sentences but also not overdoing it? Something that will probably impress the reader.
I don’t know how much this will help, since English is my native language, but honestly just looking up synonyms when practice writing (and making sure they actually work, you can double check with word reference) makes it stick to your memory. So, when you’re actually doing a test essay, your sound a lot better :)
Lovely 💋❤🥀👄

I just wanted to note that most Arabic speakers and if there's anyone who's from any Arabic country, you definitely could relate to this, we find it hard sometimes to pronounce words that have more than one letter that's slient or even pronouncing "p" as "b" there's a subtle difference between them, and when it comes to slient words, I find it hard to pronounce both of (violent as well as violet, I have no clue whether there's a slient word or not, in either cases, some words could be pronounced in two different ways, for instance (either)
Anyway, we could add to the list of words that have the last letter (n) slient, condemn, which means to strongly critique (criticize) someone for having done something bad or morally wrong (usually publicly)
I have so many Arabic friends who have difficulty pronouncing P. Instead of P, they say B. For example, they say 'Barking lot' instead of 'Parking lot'
"Either" can be pronounced either way but in general I think that the "i" version of its pronunciation is usually considered more correct.
Somewhat depending on where the individual English speaker is from, however.
In some ways I think it would be more fun if it actually *were* a barking lot. 🐕 🐕 🐕
You know why we sturggle with "b" and "p"? Because we don't have "p" letter in Arabic so we find it hard to do so. We have "ب" which is more "b" like (door/باب/bab) etc.
That's why some people struggle with some Arabic alphabets (ض/ع) etc if they speak/learn Arabic.
Yacht pronunciation is new to me tq
Very helpful video 👍
Thank in advance it is so helpful
Thanks a million 💐💐💜💜💜
None of the words you presented I mispronounced, I am not native but for me phonetics is a mixture of art, passion and science. It s possible to grasp it with practice. It s all about checking and never about guessing. Think also about these words lieutenant, carafe, resume, discombobulated, goose, geese, octopi, .... Sachet, isle, ... I m always learning , huge thank you
Nice ❤💓👄🌷💋
Thanks
I love this type of videos, just 10 minutes 😃🤩
شكرا إلك من القلب ❤️
Thank u so much 😍
This is exactly what I wanted! I'm from Japan and I'm not so fluent in English, but I like finding words with difficult pronunciation! thanks for sharing this :)
Its okay to be not so fluent if you are not native English speaker. Even they are not so fluent in speaking Japanese language also.
@@krishnamurariprasad3790 Thanks! Yeah, I guess what really counts is to try hard.
I have a soft spot for tricky English pronunciation, too. It s really a great and fantastic gate to master English sounds. Best of luck
@@pro369 I agree. Good luck to all the people who are fond of tricky English pronunciation!
@@user-et7pj6ey2z Mr. Japan. I can't read your name. Can you just write it down in English for me.
In my country, English is preferable language but we speak it with slight variation in tones. And the tone varies every 10km here.
Thanks for sharing, amazing

Lovely ❤💋🥀👄
Wow this helped a lot!
Nice lesson
I just loved the way you speak dear marina. 😃
I think the 'd' in sandwich is a very regional thing. In my area (southwest) the 'd' is given a very light tap with a tiny tiny pause right at the letter. So not SAND - witch, but San - dwitch. Almost like twitch, but with just a barely harder 'd' instead of 't' sound. if that makes any sense. I do hear san - witch (no 'd') a lot, this is true. But it's mostly from transplants to the area from other geographical areas, hence my belief that that particular one very regional.
as always a great video and as a native speaker I learn a lot from your channel

Comb is not pronounced “calm”, but com…with a long O.
