    Jimmy Page had some amazing riffs: Kashmir, Heartbreaker, and Whole Lotta Love. All 3 of those songs could Legitmently be #1

      Great list, though You Really Got Me was the Kinks. I know Van Halen covered it, but the legendary riff belongs to the Kinks.

      Almost every new AC/DC song I listen to has a great riff. Led Zeppelin, Kiss, and Metallica are also some of the best riff bands imo

    Sorry all..The Song Remains the Same is the best and greatest opening guitar riff of all time. Jimmy Page is from another planet..if you don’t believe me watch The Live in New York 1973 Concert..no one compares to JP not even close.

    The biggest riff band is AC/DC. If you're going to pick from Gn'R Sweet Child is over Jungle. I like Jungle better but Sweet Child is extremely well know everywhere
