I am African from also a former Portuguese colony so I’ve being cooking this meal for over 20 years, he himself said to add something to his description of this dish. If you have nothing good to add then mind your own business.
@@MN-jm7iz - Yes, I think he is thinking of Palm Oil as a neutral clarified oil but when most African recipes use it, it is unfiltered and has a very distinct taste! Similar to how Italians use Olive Oil, it should not be skipped or replaced. 🧡
Looks delicious, but if it lacks palm oil, palm bean paste (called moamba), kiabos and funge from cassava flour it is not "chicken moamba" on any way. Also: it is made with hen and there's no rice in moamba.

I would highly recommend that everyone do some research online about palm oil. Personally, I'm avoiding it for a handful of reasons.
