These guards and horses have to be incredibly well natured to have to deal with the tourists day after day. This kind of thing would probably not be tolerated in the US. If you've ever been to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery in the DC area, you will know that you are not allowed to get anywhere near the guard at the Tomb. AND THEY MEAN IT! I would never presume to grab a horse's reigns when he/she has a rider. It's just tourist stupidity...

@@ohara. oh!! The racist card and now the mental card can get you out of all sorts of situations. It's like the upgraded version monopoly eg mental health - go to jail. - racism get out of jail.this country is bonkers in dealing with crime and vandalism, there is no police force. - army force - any force in the country that has any backing by the government to enforce the laws to make this country a safer place for true Britt's to live in. We are forever bending our laws to accommodate foreigners - immigrants etc while ignoring the people that keep this country afloat
But it's not surprising because those in government are the most corrupt and it's time for an over all change get the general public to stand for election rather than these pampered uppercrust Etonians etc know-alls who have no idea how the working class survive let alone cope with the everyday pressures of life, like getting to and from work with the prices of train fares escalating at an exuberant rate. Child care prices on the uprise, with little or no help for the tax payers whilst lots of help for people on benefits which don't often get used. I mean! Why bother to get out of bed if everything is paid for and you don't have to send your child to nursery if you don't feel like to. This country needs to make it harder for people on benefits to survive and get back into the workforce, because it's not fair on the taxpayers. Why should the taxpayers always pick up the bill so that politicians and lazy people should have a cushy life? I wouldn't mind so much if after years of working and wearing your body out eg knees and hips you would be selected accordingly but isn't the case. This country has gone to pot and it would take a miracle to rectify it.
