IMO, you should absolutely keep the long version of the soldering and the wiring. If a new modder were to approach a project like this, the wiring can seem daunting or intimidating. Talking people through all the steps slowly makes for good content, i think.
Thank you for doing the video. These are appreciated so much. I also like the fact that you pointed out the three troublesome screws. You have no idea how many people would be disheartened over their ability to do the mod if they encounter a problem like a sticking screw right at the start. I love the extra details please do full videos showing every step of the process and every wire install. Thank you.
Awesome video!! Thank you. Clear step by step instructions with clear communication. Maybe add items necessary for mod at beginning and end with a QR code to your site for easy purchase? Just an idea.
I have basic soldering skills, but with this blaster. The soldering looked pretty straightforward for me, specially after I've opened a blaster, looked around and understood what part was what. Thanks for the video!
I just ordered this mod kit and a lipo alarm, and my lipo's and charger will be here Friday. I already took the long screws out and just barely screwed them back in to make it easier for when I go to do this mod, I cant wait!
I love this format. So many modders assume that the people watching own the same blaster and know everything that's happening. Most of their shots are blocked by heads hands and shadows. I've been inspired to make mod videos just to make the videos better! I absolutely love this work. And pretty soon my order from you should be arriving. :)
I wasn't going to do a full rewire of my Nemesis until I saw this, then I figured that it was easy enough so I bought the switches/switch plate and just finished it tonight!
Infinus mod guide would be great, I haven't seen anywhere on youtube that can get it up to a good FPS and retain the dart guillotine. In terms of this mod guide, everything from the lighting to structure and whatnot was perfectly fine. Keep up this style of mod guide
Thanks so much for finally getting this out there. Well worth the wait. I've done a couple, and I have a third in line and I'm glad to see the tips you have for resolving some of the issues. As for the next mod guide, I think there's nowhere else to go but Prometheus. lol!
I ordered, and received my order quickly in France, thank you very much! I just made the change! The 3D parts fit perfectly ✌️Whaouuu it has nothing to do with the original! out of darts? The Best
TLDR: I lobe this channel, the mod guides, the shop.. all of it. Super useful for any level modder This is a year old, but I found this channel because of a 'mudgun' donation (kids leave them outside, somehow they totally flood up with dirt, not so great for, you know....working blasters). But in the donation was a dirty rusty nemesis(ONE switch was salvageable) and a totally rusted out modulus ecs-10. My cs-10 flyte sacrificed its guts, motors, cages and all to make the modulus work. Some parts from here (and a k26 I currently have no use for). I have made everything work and am so freaking happy about it. Modulus is about to get a total new part overhaul. I think the flyte motors are a bit....not as good as previous equivalents
I'm only going to use these videos to mod my stuff. I don't have to figure things out and your video shows me everything. I even bought some stuff off your site to make my mod easier for myself. Long video, links to all the stuff needed and you have my money.
Love this step by step video with the wiring diagram and the walk threw tutorial, couldn't have done a better job thanks man, can't wait to order what I need for mine
I have modded springers with no problem or fear. Flywheels have always concerned me but I have to admit your tutorial has me anxious to try this now. I have 2 nemesis blasters that I will do. Thanks!
Great mod guide! No need to shorten anything, because averagely good mod guides need to be long to show everything that needs to be done. Showed me for sure that with the right tools and patience that soldering and wiring doesn’t seem so bad lol. I did do it in Jewelry and metals in high school and did pretty well with it, so I’m slightly familiar with soldering, but obviously with electrical stuff there’s more care to be taken. Next I’d love to see you mod a rapidstrike, now that they’re officially back on the shelves re-named the Accustrike Stratohawk! It’ll be especially useful for those like myself that have missed out on the original rapidstrike.
Please keep the long form of the soldering and wiring process for future guides. I was able to watch the video in full a few times and then was able to pause after each step and then play and watch the next step... thank you for taking the time to do this...NERF ON AND BANGARANG!
i really really like this type of video. some videos are too fast cannot even see what they are doing. you have really done a good job explaining it all. will be upgrading my nemesis when i get all the parts i needed. thanks
The 30 minute shutoff lost the upper switch installation. My blaster differs slightly. Bought on Amazon just before Xmas. The post that couples with your upper switch plate is now a screw hole post, so it's a bit wider. Going to Dremel out the switch plate bracket to fit the new diameter.
Do you still recommend removing the motor boards and wiring? Or, like the Perses, is it beneficial to keep the current protection of the boards and are the wires actually sufficient?
Hello out of darts this video helped me so much wiring up my nemesis thank you so much for this i have had that nemesis laying around amd this helped me so much thank u again.
man that differently timed main trigger pull is fantastic. I think I'd do just that for my son so it's easier for him to fire. Edit: Finished my son's blaster and it only uses the trigger. I'm likely going to cover up the rev trigger with a shell of some sort of solid material. Thanks so much, Luke, for this video. It helped a TON!
You should do the dominator and as you go along, after one cage, you say how you would finish the wiring with 1, two cages, and how you would finish the wiring with 2, and then finish it up with 3 cages. Say what you recommend in terms of motors and cages and Mosfets and such. It would be very helpful.
At 12:07 be careful, I snipped off the solder from the boards and ended up snipping off half of the one of the motor terminals. Ya, made it really hard to solder a wire to it later in the tutorial. Just de-solder them off and thank me later.
Question: What do the numbers mean for the battery? I think I've figured out that 3s means 11.1v (which we do not want to change). if I bought a 3s battery but it was 4000mAh, is that just more capacity - Meaning play longer? What about a 3s that was 20c or 40c - what is that referring to, can we use either? One final question - how much play time would one get out of the XT60 2200mAh - that's the one I purchased. Great video - thanks!
I named it "The Luke-n-ator". After watching the video, it was well worth the price--I have a Swordfish, Rayven and Afterburner all waiting...and maybe a Rapidstrike after you do the video (I have your circuit board and my Blaster waiting...hint, hint)
I think in the intro you should describe what benefits your mod does and what the cost is. More importantly the benefits vs stock I am 6 minutes in and am curious as to why I should mod it, like for what benefit Thank you very impressed with your videos
Thanks for the feedback! We're always looking for ways to improve our tutorials. In the case of this mod guide, the purpose is to make this blaster compatible with rechargeable LiPo batteries, which are more readily available than the Nerf brand rechargable pack and offer better performance. Hope this helps clarify Everything!
A guide for the Regulator or Infinius would be good. However, I would like to see an updated Zeus/Hiricane guide using switch plates. I know that you mentioned modeling switch plates for it a while back, and I've been hoping for them.
As a new modder and visual learner, I prefer the long version of soldering as opposed to just the wiring diagram. Question though, isit worth doing the wiring mod if keeping the drop-in single battery (not the 4D batteries)?
Where Hasbro left a screw whole without a screw near the flywheel, that door covers a rubber flap.... do you remove that piece of rubber? If not what is it for?
hi i just got a nemesis and watched this video and think this is really cool, i have done a lot of springer mods, but never done a flywheel mod before, i have never done it before because im too worried that im going to break my blaster, i have never linked wires together before, if i do exactly what out of darts does in this video could i be succsesfull or do i need to train myself, or would it just be too risky and i would break my blaster, is this an easy mod if i do exactly what he does in this video and being really carefull with my nemesis?
Did you do something to the hop-up? On my 3S Nemesis there was so much back-spin that I had to remove it all together to be able to hit anything apart from the ceiling o_O
I just finished mine the other day, but with the 3s the balls are flying so fast the hopup is way too strong and the darts just about fly straight up after about 30 feet. any fix for this?
I know your probably busy but what would you charge for the modification if I send my rival to you. I just don't have the time. Please pm. Also can you do a Prometheus
Ironically, with my mechanical engineering degree ("The Knack") I took it apart and took a couple of continuity measurments, pulled a few things out and back and when I finally put it back together about 5 times to make sure everything was working right, and the screws in mostly the correct locations, It worked. Surprise. But will still strongly consider the kit on your site after these 8 D batteries die.
Hello, I have modded 2 Nemesis and I was wondering if you could help me. I watched your RUclips video and followed the guide but 2 of the guns have motors that spin the wrong way. I was wondering if you had any tips or tricks to help me. Please respond ASAP, I am in a nerf war right now at my high school and really need to get these up and running to help my team! Thanks!
IMO, you should absolutely keep the long version of the soldering and the wiring. If a new modder were to approach a project like this, the wiring can seem daunting or intimidating. Talking people through all the steps slowly makes for good content, i think.
David Welch longer the video, better views
Can confirm new and like long videos that explain the how and why people do certain processes.
My first mod tutorial and the full walkthrough is great although i can read a schematic
My nemesis just broke and I decided to do this. Very informative and you have certainly made it less daunting. Keep up the good work!
Does anyone mod these on the side I have a few I’d like modded
Infinus or Prometheus for mod guide
The step by step is perfect for those of us that don't have a ton of experience with mods like this. Excellent video! Thank you.
Thank you.
I agree to keep the long version. It helps new modders by walking through it. There is no right way but it helps a lot.
I would like to see a modern take on modding the Rapidstrike.
Simon K. Hansen now that the Stratohawk is a thing, that’ll be entirely possible, I’ll be stoked to see someone do that
Kordell Pierce precisely my thought ;)
Awesome video!! Thank you. Clear step by step instructions with clear communication. Maybe add items necessary for mod at beginning and end with a QR code to your site for easy purchase? Just an idea.
The reason your mod vids are the best is because you cover every step.
Oh my gosh!!!! This is so much more easier to follow than dracs!!! I tried to rewire mine to the drac version but you made this 10000 time easier!!!!!
I have basic soldering skills, but with this blaster. The soldering looked pretty straightforward for me, specially after I've opened a blaster, looked around and understood what part was what. Thanks for the video!

Why you are here.
I am a sub

Wire by wire is amazing thank you… especially for people like me who have know idea what they are doing 😂
Just got my parts today, excited to get started!
This is education. Especially for these beastly blasters, its less intimidating if there's a step-by-step
I have modded springers with no problem or fear. Flywheels have always concerned me but I have to admit your tutorial has me anxious to try this now. I have 2 nemesis blasters that I will do. Thanks!
Just ordered a few things from your site can’t wait to mod my Nemesis, an this video will help me do it.

Hades mode guide
i really really like this type of video. some videos are too fast cannot even see what they are doing. you have really done a good job explaining it all. will be upgrading my nemesis when i get all the parts i needed. thanks
I’ve already searched for a Rapidstrike mod vid from you. Definitely would love to see one for the Rapidstrike and Prometheus
The 30 minute shutoff lost the upper switch installation. My blaster differs slightly. Bought on Amazon just before Xmas. The post that couples with your upper switch plate is now a screw hole post, so it's a bit wider. Going to Dremel out the switch plate bracket to fit the new diameter.
great video, finally some one who shows us every thing keep them long bro :)
U should make a mod guide for the rapidstrike
man that differently timed main trigger pull is fantastic. I think I'd do just that for my son so it's easier for him to fire.
Edit: Finished my son's blaster and it only uses the trigger. I'm likely going to cover up the rev trigger with a shell of some sort of solid material. Thanks so much, Luke, for this video. It helped a TON!
I love seeing all the wiring

Let's see one for the adventure Force monolith
At 12:07 be careful, I snipped off the solder from the boards and ended up snipping off half of the one of the motor terminals. Ya, made it really hard to solder a wire to it later in the tutorial. Just de-solder them off and thank me later.

I am very happy with the turn key Nemesis I purchased from you
I named it "The Luke-n-ator". After watching the video, it was well worth the price--I have a Swordfish, Rayven and Afterburner all waiting...and maybe a Rapidstrike after you do the video (I have your circuit board and my Blaster waiting...hint, hint)
Please do an updated rapidstrike mod guide
I think in the intro you should describe what benefits your mod does and what the cost is.
More importantly the benefits vs stock
I am 6 minutes in and am curious as to why I should mod it, like for what benefit
Thank you very impressed with your videos

I wish there was a detailed video like this for the Infinus. I’m really keen to mod mine but would like to see it done first.
Great video well explained ordered my parts from your shop great prices thanks for the tutorial
As a new modder and visual learner, I prefer the long version of soldering as opposed to just the wiring diagram.
Question though, isit worth doing the wiring mod if keeping the drop-in single battery (not the 4D batteries)?
I vote for the Rapidstrike using your mod switch card (?)
I also purchased your mod kit for the Nemesis. I would like to purchase (2) foregrips for my boys Perses, hopefully wr can get those before Christmas!
Where Hasbro left a screw whole without a screw near the flywheel, that door covers a rubber flap.... do you remove that piece of rubber? If not what is it for?
I like the full time wiring demo
What was the recommended battery? I did this as long ago as this is video was posted and gave the blaster to my nephew and he needs a new battery.
Please make a mod guide for Infinus, Rapidstrike and Charger
We're planning a lot of new mod guides for this year. Stay tuned! - OUT OF DARTS / Perry
@@outofdarts It is always cool to hear it. And btw I bought your book and it is awesome. Very cool and very useful, can't wait to start wih mods!
Every step of the wiring is good.
How about a mod guide for the Hades?
I would like to see a Mod Guide for the Nerf Rival Prometheus
hi i just got a nemesis and watched this video and think this is really cool, i have done a lot of springer mods, but never done a flywheel mod before, i have never done it before because im too worried that im going to break my blaster, i have never linked wires together before, if i do exactly what out of darts does in this video could i be succsesfull or do i need to train myself, or would it just be too risky and i would break my blaster, is this an easy mod if i do exactly what he does in this video and being really carefull with my nemesis?
RapidStrike!!
Definitely want to see a Full- Auto Rival Hera Mod Guide
Did you do something to the hop-up? On my 3S Nemesis there was so much back-spin that I had to remove it all together to be able to hit anything apart from the ceiling o_O
Wouldnt a flyback diode on the motor work just the same on the pusher motor?
I would like to see your style of long form mod guide of the Krono-Mag.
Rapidstrike, thanks for the guide I like seeing every wire. It helps a lot
Worker hurricane mod guide
do you still make these? I would buy 2 pre-modded nemesis rifles but your website says out of stock
I just finished mine the other day, but with the 3s the balls are flying so fast the hopup is way too strong and the darts just about fly straight up after about 30 feet. any fix for this?
Rapidstrike
I love to see this video(: Thx You should do a mod guide on the Nerf Khaos!
If your running the blaster on a 3S, why are the motors rated 9.6volts?
I think you should do a full mod guide for the rival Hera
I just bought one of these off someone and they didn’t lmk that one of the flywheels are f spinning. Could you lmk how to fix it or if it is fixable?
Where can I get these switches and plates . Want to mod for my m18 batteries .
Are you still doing these? Inquiring for sure
We still supply a mod kit and other parts for the Nemesis. We no longer sell pre-modded Nemesis blasters.
That's easy the adventure force quantum!! Love ur vids!
Caliburn build guide
So do the triggers not work independently of each other after the mod?
Hello, i have a question. Will the 1000mah 35c 3s zippy battery work with the nemesis or is the c rating too low?
Any reason you didn’t upgrade the motors?
Does not need a mod it's so OP
the coaster corner it can ALWAYS be more op 😝
I know your probably busy but what would you charge for the modification if I send my rival to you. I just don't have the time. Please pm. Also can you do a Prometheus
Is there any simple mod to make the ROF a little higher?
How about a timer to remind you of camera time?
Is there a screw driver set you recommend for these screws?
What if you put a rival micro cage in a Prometheus?
fantastic sale technique haha I love it.
Any idea where to look when the Nemesis does not even start? Batteries are good. Bought it used this way.
I likely just buy your kit and rewire everything. Thanks for this tutorial!
Ironically, with my mechanical engineering degree ("The Knack") I took it apart and took a couple of continuity measurments, pulled a few things out and back and when I finally put it back together about 5 times to make sure everything was working right, and the screws in mostly the correct locations, It worked. I seen a short where a guy dud this with a 20v Dewalt batt
Can you make a hand held table tennis gun? That can spin the ping pong balls left right up and down?
Can you make a stryfe mod video
With MTB neo rhino motors
Now that's the speed it should have from the start!
What is the rate of fire of the modified nemesis?
where can I get the switches?
and what kind are they?
Hello, I have modded 2 Nemesis and I was wondering if you could help me. I watched your RUclips video and followed the guide but 2 of the guns have motors that spin the wrong way. I was wondering if you had any tips or tricks to help me. Please respond ASAP, I am in a nerf war right now at my high school and really need to get these up and running to help my team! Thanks!
You should message him on his newest video since he may see it but the best thing to do is email him
How about a Regulator, or maybe a Hammer-primed blaster.
Alphatrooper or Retaliator next please
How much would it be to send my rival to you to have you modify it for me
List of parts you used?
What are the exact specs on ur lipo?
