Except for Justin Gatlin. And Shelby Houlihan.
The legacy of the East German women athletics will always be fondly remembered. They were the best of the best then! 👏👏
They were all on drugs
You mean they will be remembered as State funded scientific super humans.
Especially by pharmaceutical companies😂🤣
East German Woman the most DOPED ATHLETES EVER!.......cheers!
The best systematic training of athletes ever devised. Unfortunately, it also had some very negative consequences for some athletes long term. Still, the best training regime ever.
All these super athletes from Russia and Europe, all forgot how to run, jump, and throw; when the State sponsored doping stopped; all Europeans experience amnesia, when it comes to competing in T&F. Like Skippers , who is suffering the same kind of amnesia.

IT'S GOING DOWN LOL!
From 1992 onward the drug testing was much stronger. There were still people doping and getting caught but it wasn't the blatant abuse of the 1980s.
There were German women suing, because they couldn’t have children, because they were given drugs for years. I know American athletes that have gotten caught and paid a hefty cost, just ask Marion Jones and her husband. But I understand why they have to blame America, because they can’t face the fact that they’re the blame, and no one else. And we know they can’t blame themselves! Hitler couldn’t face that fact either!😂
Dopers all
Not as dope as your mum's box.
Same thing today
With the advent of random drug testing the queens seem to disappear. ‘Magic shoes’ must have stopped working 🤔
Marita Koch and many other Eastern athletes still won everything after the change.
Sport has quite literally disappeared in Germany and Eastern Europe. Too many social problems to do that and no propaganda to further the regime authority.
Look at the USSR, US and China... how strong they were and are... Ideology pushes results.
Marita Koch. The clue is in his name. Brilliant sprint Queen.
*Brilliant Dope Queen
truth hidden in plain sight
Wtf 😂
D.D.R. the best.
They trained hard and had ample access to vitamin S.
With a hefty dose or two of Turinabol.
All were doped to the gills
Like many Americans today. They just get away with it now. And the drug they we’re accused of using Clembuterol isn’t a steroid
Wow. You are so enlightened! And trump won the presidency. Lol!
@@jjgreen5206 Allegations without any evidence! You sound like Hitler, because he thought y’all were superior also. Black athletes weren’t able to attend many colleges when y’all were winning. However, in the 60s those doors start opening little by little. Any American that uses anything gets caught, just like Sha’Carri Richardson! Marion went to jail and banned for life! Shut up until you can back up your LIES!! There were Germans females crying on TV, because their bodies were ruined. They’ll give you evidence!😅 I guess he scrammed because he had no evidence!!
@christopherwelch136 many of those females especially from swimmers and track and field transitioned to opposite sex
@christopherwelch136 many of those females especially from swimmers and track and field transitioned to opposite sex
Hopefully WR's will fall this summer..But that 800 ain't going anywhere...Coe and World Track need to erase it..How are they Still on books??
There should be an asterisk beside the 100m 200m 400m and 800m.
Everybody was on the Juice in The 80’s.
The same way Flo Jo’s widely contested WRs are still on the books. Legally it’s difficult because the star East German athletes were not mentioned specifically with doping in the Statsi files. And like Jones and Armstrong, they have never failed doping tests. Unlike Jones and Armstrong, they have never been forced to admit to doping. Cow wanted to scrap the records about 3 years ago but faced a real fight in the courts
All they do is drugs brothers and gentlemen
So why Russia and Germany can even make the cut in women's track now. They are too dam slow. They are not making them in the lab, like Ivan Drako in Rocky.
Canada usa gb can I go on
Magic shoe's !! Syringe's more like !!
If the Soviets and Warsaw Pact nation were systematically doping their athletes, how come they never made much progress in the Women's 100 and 200?
I really think the Big Red Machine spent a lot of state-sanctioned resources in developing these athletes from such a tender age!
Yes ofcourse that is the real reason. But so many western fluters here come and doing bla bla on drug drug drug .
A great way to distract the people of their government's repression.
Oh and they had some too were they on drug's this The first time seeing this
12:33 'The Trans World Sport sportswoman of the year 1991', so there it is.
So there what is?
Transworld Sports is the name of the sports television show you halfwit
I dont know what kind a stuff they were given but I wouldnt say these women had tons of steroids they didnt looked manly and look at Grit or Katrin they arent even muscular Katrin was really thin compared with flojo obviously her times werent as good
The Americans don't Like showing Flo Jo in 1987
The East German female athletes were extremely manly. Facial hair, deep voices, large muscles, etc.
@@feponcio nope not the case of Krabbe
German comeback in the sprints not possible the best Black females in the world dominate now...no catching them
There are black Germans.
Abby Steiner has a chance to beat the black girls
yOU DID CHEAT !!!
Dopers.
You're the typical imbecile who wants to dumb down everything with one word, not seeking to articulate your views. Life is complex and not reduced to one word.
For the sake of argument, let's engage in this debate. Yes, they used performance enhancement substances. However, what about the training, diets, perseverance, nerves of steel, technique, etc?
That would require thinking! Too much for you to handle!
Just like your precious USA athletes
@General Bradley definitely not out of jealousy. Who the hell wants to be american? Im spreading what I observed. US is the biggest crime pusher the most racist country and they use their media so well. It was always someone else' fault...
@General Bradley Hi-hi-hi Americans are pure as a tear, you clown.
Better athletes through chemicals!
Have not heard of them since
1. Schlimme Frisuren
2. Alle voll gedopt bis in die Haarspitzen
1. Stimmt, auch besonders in den Achseln.
2. Stimmt leider auch.
I once dated a East German Girl athlete and I was happy after a couple of minutes! She wanted to keep going all night ! I always thought she was on something 😂😂😂😂🤣
Steroids are well-known to greatly increase libido, particularly among female athletes. Tales are legendary of female athletes "needing it" and hooking up with fellow athletes and coaches.
@@kurtfrancis4621 I think all female athletes dope because only male can grow muscles and run faster.
Marita Koch the greatest of all time
Greatest DOPER of all-time. Yes, I agree.
@@GreyBeard_Fit no, she was a natural talent.
She's moreless admitted she used steriods and there's evidence she did, plus other athletes part of eastern european have admitted she did

Guaranteed your gen z 😂.
Вefore with doping times are weak, now without doping they improve it by 10 seconds , hehehehe.
are we sure they are not men
We are sure. Their doctors can attest (Unless you're a conspiratorial personality and fail to understand that simple trust is very reasonable at times) It's testament to the power of these drugs to affect gender characteristics.
Marita Koch is the best female athlete ever, period
Koch used performance enhancing drugs
And modern athletes don't
@@degreeO Prove it.
@@0077725 @Rand Al’Thor, Koch never tested positive but there is documented evidence to prove that most East German athletes received state sanctioned performance enchanting drugs.
lol
I find it hilarious that an in any Olympic event an athlete can test positive for PEDs while his or her competitors all test clean, yet their performance is near identical. Either PEDs make little to no difference (which is complete nonsense, they wouldn’t be used otherwise) or it’s simply the case that they were unlucky getting caught while the others weren’t. The answer is obvious.
