Like todays athletes aren't doped. They let certain athletes use performance enhancing drugs, in order to create superstars, which again draws spectators, creates hype and all that. It's all about the money!

I hope I’m wrong but I was convinced in my own mind 20 years ago at the elite levels of track they all do what they gotta do to recover and stay fast. They all know from scientific research when to stop their cycle to be clean enough for the tests. Dirty tests happen in all sports every year. I don’t know what the answer would be to stop it. Like I said I hope I’m wrong but wow there are way too many examples over the years. So if it’s going to happen anyway and people still can’t live without the elite sports…..should it be allowed? My knee jerk reaction is NO! But all of us have had some of our preferred athletes be “dirty” at one time or another. Interesting doc and topic. Watch the documentary Bigger Stronger Faster (2008) just to see what I’m talking about.

I find it hilarious that an in any Olympic event an athlete can test positive for PEDs while his or her competitors all test clean, yet their performance is near identical. Either PEDs make little to no difference (which is complete nonsense, they wouldn’t be used otherwise) or it’s simply the case that they were unlucky getting caught while the others weren’t. The answer is obvious.

She did sacrifice so much to make absurd records that still stand to this day. And a very good person to be involved with the physical education of the youths. If she beat the East German dopers at their own game, well done. 40 years and nothing's emerged to bring a case that she had banned PED's in her possession. But still she looked .. beyond female

The last Olympics before our worst ever in Atlanta that created a new approach with lottery funding and the incredible results since....1992 Barcelona was a brilliant games....and was nice to see every medal GB got was seen as a major achievement
