Hello! Surprisingly it held up quite well! This was the wettest my Kanken has ever been, and it was a tiny bit damp inside but not soaking wet at all. It’s totally fine in light rain and snow. It generally doesn’t rain like this too so I think our kankens will be just fine as long as you aren’t always carrying important paper documents or laptops during heavy rain ☺️
Hey Leesa, I am planning on taking my plant-based coffee truck (Miffies Coffee) from California to Amsterdam or Rotterdam and was wondering if you had any tips on where we could set up and be stationary. Any suggestions would be great. We are both British by the way too
Wow, that sounds so awesome! I can’t suggest anywhere in Rotterdam (haven’t been) but I would look into the Oud-West area. I live in this area and there’s a strong demand for plant-based food (vegan sushi bar, vegan fresco, meatless district, SOIL vegan cafe, little plant pantry - all are in Oud West and thriving). Also maybe near the Westerpark area :) hope this helps and looking forward to hopefully visiting your coffee truck when it gets here!
@@LeesaYu thanks so much. Really helpful. I do love the vegan scene out in Holland. Trying to do as much networking as I can now to make it happen. I’ve got a quote from the shipping company to make it happen. Just gotta keep chipping away at getting to Hollland day by day. X
It's a little pricey, but also worth it considering the ingredients they use (as vegan substitutes aren't cheap). Definitely well worth the 8 euros I paid!
Of all the grocery-type items I’ve picked up, I’d say 10% is for on the same day and then 50-60% a few days later, then the remainder is good for a lot longer. So it’s not stressful at all :)
@@LeesaYu Thanks for the reply. I took one box from the supermarket This was my first purchase and everything has an expiry date on the same pickup date. I think i need to avoid those stores.
Oh that’s a shame! I am mostly plant based so that gives me more flexibility with the food I receive. Even if something is expiring that day, I know it will usually be safe to eat the next day.
Such a fantastic vid! The bread looks so delicious, as does the vegan sushi. I wish they had something like that here in Aus! That rain was intense! You gotta get some rain pants:) The only problem with this vid is that by now, you should have Too Good to Go as your official sponsor! P.S. I also liked the Harris Farm enviro bag inclusion!
Yessss I need rain pants asap! It’s only going to get worse during winter 😅 definitely is my dream to work with TGTG - I believe in their mission so much and am clearly their number 1 fan 🥰 ~ MANIFEST ~
No, I don’t think we will get a car here especially if we stay in Amsterdam. Everything is within bikeable distance and I love that I now have a lower carbon footprint. But I did wish I had a car when I picked up that cake and bread order (I’m guessing that’s why you asked) 😅
Yes I do! I have heard of this gene! Have hated coriander for as long as I can remember - I’ve tried to eat it a few times hoping I will change my mind but…. Still hate it 😂
I didn't know about the excistense of the app will give it a tryyy 👊👊 once again a great videoo !!! 👌
Yay! Give it a go and let us know how it goes! Make sure to look at the rating system 😉😉
Wish Maza, Vegan Fresco and Drie Graefjes still were on Too good to go!
I haven't seen Maza and Vegan Fresco on TGTG recently, but Drie Graefjes definitely still is :D
Hey Leesa, I know it’s a weird question but does that kanken backpack survive in Netherlands’ rainy weather? I have the exact same, just curious!

the full price for that sushi was crazy expensive :O

Well-done
Do all food have expiry date same as pickup date ?

Is the app in English as well?
Yep! All in English :)

Hello Leesa, are you guys considering getting a car?

You have the coriander gene. For real. People who have it say it tastes like soap.
Yes I do! I have heard of this gene! Have hated coriander for as long as I can remember - I’ve tried to eat it a few times hoping I will change my mind but…. Still hate it 😂
