Relic Exchanger works exactly how you think. However, it is only for 1 successful run as stated on the page. Successful runs = getting to the first boss fight, not to be mistaken with completed runs. If the run ends i.e. you die after the first boss fight, any relic you exchanged/purchased goes poof. I didnt test what would happen if you die during the 1st boss fight though. Energy is capped at 10 so you cant bring in 2x legendary (2x7). I believe it is mainly for speedruns and higher ragnarok tiers. As CC you might find some other fun stuff to do with it.
Sorry for the confusion about dragon altar (the egg thingy). It does not give you new/undiscovered legendaries. Shouldve just said it gives you a legendary since you cant really have a dupe anyway (at least for now).
Ah okay, that makes sense. Is it always those listed relics I saw that you can bring in? I could think of some goofy stuff if I can mix and match from the entire pool.
No worries about the egg thing. Guaranteed legendary is much easier to explain anyway lol

I think Vampire Hunters deserves a little praise. In a genre where almost no attention is paid to arena design, the attention paid to making the arena feel as vital to the outcome of a build as your loadout is without peer.
