Why are people bringing others cultures in this talk? This is not the culture of the bride or the groom, you do not go around bringing your culture to someone else wedding.
There are so many colours available, yet some people choose white for a wedding.
As a philippino and who has been to many weddings since my mum is always a ninang (godmother) is that the brides dress/ gown and a filipiniana is totality different. Even if she was philippino why wouldn't cousin be like "hey baby its bad to wear a white dress to a wedding"?

This whole thing is stupid. Color blindness means COLOR Blindness. Red, Green, Light Blue. You can tell between Black and White. It's not seen as Gray. Point also being the date should of said something to the girl about wearing white. Come on Americans aren't that stupid. Not one wears white to a Wedding except the bride (unless of course it a different religion etc.).
Fr op said it was a literal bridal wedding dress, not a random dress that happened to be white (which still probably wouldn’t have been very appropriate). There was no way that wasn’t on purpose. Istg Reddit is full of idiots

Lotta is an AH for being upset that the neighbor is setting boundaries after she refuses a favor.
She is not the AH for refusing to babysit. It is her choice wither she should accept the responsibility of looking after a kindergartener when she might not be familiar with handling kids.
I personally feel like BF is an AH for criticizing Lotta’s behavior. If BF had been home she’d probably feel like looking after a kid is no problem cuz there are two adults that will help babysit.
Personally I can babysit elementary schoolers but anything below that is a no go for me.
I don’t feel like I can take care of another person’s toddler.
Is that really not a concern for others?
With the child's grandmother on the way and the other child in mortal peril? No. Whether or not snowflake culture told you you should feel comfortable doing what you were designed to do is really not a concern.
