Story 1: it’s true that op dodged a bullet , as the ex was a manchild who clearly holds a torch to his “best platonic friend ”, the whole friend group are emotionally stunted people in adult bodies . What type of a prank is “ lingerie gifting” . And the amount of gaslighting ex did ! Hopefully op gets out of this breakup spiral and realize what a bunch of shi*ty people they were. Story 2 : I agree with op that if they attend, it’s gonna be a shi*t storm, but for ops wife to understand that ops family are a bunch of AHs , maybe she needs to go through this event to see how they actually are , and maybe then op can talk with his wife and discuss their future dynamics with that family .
I feel so terrible for OP wife of second story to found out that your whole in-law family, who you think liked you thought of you more as a burden for the past 5 years… what a punch in the stomach!? I kinda flip flopped with yhis one tho - they started dating when OP was 17 and that wife had accident when she was 11… amazing how hes stood by her buut it is kinda weird that OP carries wife everywhere and especially since shes completely capable of taking care of her self but then I remembered OP said he took her to bed upstairs …. So not ahole
A lot of disabled people especially if they’re disabled in adult hood aren’t fond of wheelchairs and find it hard to get around, it’s probably her preference, he said where it’s needed, she probably enjoys his embrace and he enjoys feeling needed one can assume? Also she has to have a wheelchair if he words otherwise she has no way to get around lol😂 he seems like a genuine guy who loves her so I really hope it’s not weird …
