      Riding the limited express KOYA saves time and allows you to spend more time at Koyasan. If you have any questions, do feel free to comment again.😊

    Greetings Shiba-Shiba san,
    Awesome, thank you for sharing this video with details. I am visiting Wakayama this September and I am trying to structure my itinerary for 3 days in Wakayama. As there are alot of beauty spots to visit. Koyasan is on my list and I appreciate your video.
    I am wondering, if you can share a suggestion regarding best place to stay in Wakayama as I would like to visit the beach & eat tuna, onsen/hotspring, Oyunohara Otorii and walk in the forest.
    Arigato🌹

      How about this hotel?
      www.candeohotels.com/en/wakayama/
      It is located in front of Nankai Wakayamashi Station and many sightseeing spots are accessible from the hotel.

    Thank you for the video- How long did each section of the journey take please? Also do you know if there is a charge or extra steps needed for bringing luggage (large back pack)? Thank you.

    • @Shiba-Shiba_TrainsInJapan
      @Shiba-Shiba_TrainsInJapan  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! The time required for each section is as follows
      Namba Station → Hashimoto Station [express train about 50 minutes]
      Hashimoto Station → Gokurakubashi Station [local train about 50 minutes]
      Gokurakubashi Station → Koyasan Station [cable car about 5 min]
      Koyasan Station → Okunoin-mae [bus about 25 min]
      See 3:18 for details.
      On weekdays the trains bound for Hashimoto Station and Gokurakubashi Stationare not so crowded. No problem to place large luggage on the floor.
      If you have any other questions, do feel free to comment again.😊

    hi can osaka pass be use for all the train required to get to koyasan?

  • @as.6877

    Hi Shiba-San, Thanks for VDO. May you help me answer some questions? At 3.22 mins of your VDO, what's different for line 2 and 3. From picture, both are Rapid Express but the one in middle (=#2) seem to be direct and the lowest line (=#3) requires connection.
    Another question: after searching for some information, seem there are admission fee for visiting each places around the area. But i'm not sure if it means
    1) we can walk around all the temples area without admission fee, and pay admission only if we want to visit INSIDE the hall (e.g. Kondo Hall, Daito Pagoda at the Garan and Kongobuji)
    OR
    2) pay admission since outside when enter each places gate. (mean we cannot avoid paying admission fee, unless it's no sense to visit Koyasan area at all)
    Thanks

    • @Shiba-Shiba_TrainsInJapan
      @Shiba-Shiba_TrainsInJapan  4 месяца назад

      Hi! Thank you for the comment.
      Of course #2 is better than #3 since you don't have to change trains. However, #2 runs only early in the morning and most express trains runs like #3.
      1) & 2) You can walk most of the temples without admission fee. In the places I visited in this video, I didn't pay any admission fee.
      If you have any other questions, do feel free to comment again.😊

    Hi Shiba Shiba 😊We love to watch your videos 🎉 my girlfriend and I are going to visit Osaka in November. Your videos are amazing guide for us 😊 can you please let us know that permission for medicine pills? For example, can we bring simple painkillers for headache etc that are legal to use? Or all pills are forbidden to bring? We are confused about it 🥲 thank you, have a nice day 😊❤

    • @Shiba-Shiba_TrainsInJapan
      @Shiba-Shiba_TrainsInJapan  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! Unfortunately, I do not know if you are allowed to bring your own medication. However, there are plenty of drugstores throughout Japan and less expensive headache painkillers are easily available.😊
