    Okra is slippery and slimy when applied to the hair will loosen the s bonds & detangle the hair. Makes a lot of sense

      @@LLK7962 Aloe gel is a protein. It did the opposite of moisturizing my hair, and it causes breakage. Rice water helped mine get very long and then it broke it off because I kept using it not realizing my hair hates too much protein.. I had to start over.. I'm not sure if okra is a moisturizer or a protein bonder🤔 Seems worth a try though. I would try it only on a very small section of hair first to see what it does to that hair🤔

    to encourage hair growth, moisturize, leave it alone , eat well, drink water, get in the sunshine, get good sleep, exercise and be patient. she's giving you something she tried and she liked it.

    At what stage was the okra before you added the water? I couldn't tell if it was fresh, frozen or partially cooked. Thank you in advance for the response.

      Like I said in the video I only started using okra recently and I like how moisturised my hair feels after using it. As far as how often to use it? Use as often as needed 2x a week work well for me but use more often if you need to ❤️

      @@staciecutler7128 These things do work but you need patience to go through the process and give yourself enough time in one recipe before trying something else and go with stuff that are easily accessible to you.

    Possibly may work as a moisturizer but hair growth starts at the root not from hair that's already grown out.

      Yes it does work as a moisturiser and prevents breakage which in turn encourages length retention ❤️

      The secret is hair retention. I don't think anything external can really help with growth. The trick is to keep the hair that grows.

    Do this every time you wash? I wash my hair once a month- it’s so thick

      I keep it in for 45mins-1hr you can do this every time you wash your hair or every other week if you deep condition between washes❤️

    Thanks for showing the length of time between photos. Out of all the hair gurus, you're the 1st to show the time it takes to get length.
    And boy! Your little face peeking out from all that hair was shining! Love the styling!
    I've used okra once but forgot about its merits. Was okra all that you used to get that growth during 2 years? Would you say it's about 6" or 8" growth??

    Please ma'am can you clearly clarify that it is only okro you used as detangler for 2 years and that was what grew you hair?
    Is that the only thing you used apart from your normal waah routine?
    We will appreciate the whole details cos it's so confusing these days on RUclips wren you can't really tell what exactly works

      Hey sis no it’s not only okra I use. I tend to use other stuffs like aloe Vera, flaxseeds etc it just depends on what I have available at the time❤️

    Is using a sealer necessary? If yes, what may be used beside some type of butter? Also, just as a FYI, I have learned that my hair is not receptive to coconut oil. Thanks.

    How you stop shredding or breakage?

      Shedding is normal, however excess shedding is not. If your hair sheds a lot, it could be due to stress or other health issues. Some things like green tea can stop DHT which a hormone associated with hair loss so having it in a spray perhaps can help. With breakage you just need moisture ❤️

      A nylon stocking cap over a bowl and squeeze to strain. You can buy from a beauty supply or use a clean panty hose.

    I went back to 2020 on your channel when you initially started RUclips and your hair in the thumbnail does not reflect what you had in 2020. Your hair was significantly longer than what you showed in your thumbnail. I don't like when RUclipsrs have false advertising 😔

    I want to eat it ooh...then I want to grow my hair......
    Then I can order yet another hair growth oil..............let's see in 2024 what happens.
    I literally have everything in my house. Two pots of Aloe vera, I bought the second pot last month in Gran Canaria as if bringing one from another country will make a difference...as for okra I have both frozen pack bought and fresh ones and was going to cook the fresh one today so will have to use the frozen......
