Wunderbare, aber nicht übertriebene barocke Spielweise. Freudig, von allen. Grandiose Technik auf dem Horn. Sensationell.
Viola player is getting his groove on.
Fantastický výkon sólisty. překrásný tón, brilantní technika. Bravo!!!
As a former trumpet layer and now bass trombone player, I grew up in love with the tone and way of playing demonstrated by Armando Ghitalla. The ease and lightness of playing, especially in the highest registers, singingly. In this respect and especially as shown in this piece, Mr. Petkov is a more than worthy successor to Maestro Ghitalla. He disproves the idea, that you have to bash your way into the highest heights of brass playing.
Well done, sir!!
Lovely playing!
Exquisite. 👌
best ornamentations for this piece that i've heard
You know something like this gives me encouragement that even high level players struggle with this piece because it's fucking difficult stamina wise
Lol
Piece is roasty mcroastface on the lips
Absolutely wonderful! Bravo. Your sound is rich.
Original, beautiful ornamentation. Bravo!
Really nice live performance. Exemplary articulations. Great job! Thank you for the post...
Aich herr tumenerr hech musichen Neruda Bravo
Beautiful sound
Perfetto !!!
nice to see this played on the corno da caccia. i dont think ive ever seen it played on what it was originally written for.
Brian Navin It’s basically a weird shaped flugelhorn
A corno da caccia was originally a valveless hunting horn, so this is not exactly the same, but at least it is not a trumpet. Shaped like a French Horn more than a Flugelhorn. Well done all the same.
A real corno da caccia is miles away from this round Flügelhorn.
Genial, que gran sonido el corno.
¡¡¡Demasiado lindo!!!
Pure beauty!
Beautiful n Blessings from Singapore
That smile at the end was like: "im gonna kill somebody, why you didnt wait me to finish my cadenza"
Beautiful!!!
Excellent!
Bravo, bravisimo.Es ist wie Flügelhorn, nur andere Bauweise.Sehr gut!!!

👍🔝!
🚀🎺🚀🚀🎺🚀🎺🎺
I would agree it seems like the orchestra is fighting him a bit here. 14:43 they didn't even wait for him here.
Always laugh about mistakes if your on stage! He did it well
@@dg14141especially when there's no conductor
The fact that the concertmaster didn't wait from M. Petkov is funny ! Quit an outstanding performance even if we can feel him a bit tired ?
The strings were too soft, so he had to play really soft the whole time. Unfortunately, it is hard to play this concerto pianissimo for every note, but he did pretty well. ;)
Can anyone identify the equipment he is using?
It would be nice if you gave us Neruda's dates.
I guess the instrument for which Neruda composed the concerto was a valveless one, wasn't it?
Yes
wow, would be nice to hear a recording of the piece with the valveless horn. Do you have some reference?
@@YouHaveToBeTheChange I think that don't exist a recording with the original instrument for the moment.
@@YouHaveToBeTheChange I haven't come across one, but am currently practicing it to hopefully one day record it on a natural (valveless instrument)!
@@chrisprice4950 that's the attitude
Anybody know what key the corno he's play on is? Looks like he's valving in F so assuming b flat but grateful for thoughts
Post horns?
Mettetevi d’accordo sul trillo....
is it a french horn? is it some kind of trumpet? what instrument is it, please!
It's called "Hunting Horn"
It's kinda like a French horn shaped Flugelhorn
Well done like steak
Did the ensemble cut off his cadenza at the end??? Trill to no tonic???
