I've owned a 2007 Mazda3 2.0L, a 2011 Mazda3 2.5L and now I've had the 2016 Jetta 1.4L for a little over a year and a half. I liked the 2007 Mazda3 steering, I liked the 2011 Mazda3 suspension, but in my opinion the Jetta is overall superior :D The Jetta performance provides when I need it and it never let me down on the highway. My Jetta had a few issues from factory though. The steering wheel was offset but got fixed. After 3000km I starting noticing a vibration that the dealership didn't "admit" until it got pretty bad around 45000km. After many tire alignments it is still pulling slightly to the right but it is better than the Mazda's I had :) Now I am at ~70000km and it kind of starts getting a cracking/squeaking noise from the driver and passenger door when it is very hot or cool outside. Anyway, I would still go with VW now. The engine and transmission still run as new. One thing that I really did not like about the 2011 Mazda3 was that when revving it up to get max acceleration it was cutting out the traction power, simply not pulling anymore for a few seconds until it was resuming to normal rpms for the speed. That was not cool atall especially if you wanted to get out of the way fast from a big truck speeding towards you :) This never happened with Jetta. I drove a 2015 Jetta as well. I believe that the 2015 model feels a little more stable on the road than the 2016 though.

Incorrect, this is a single turbo and is not equipped with a DSG tramsmission, assuming from the description that this is a 1.4t Jetta S. However, this transmission has been getting great reveiws. The GLI is the only Jetta with a DSG. The GLI is also a single turbo.
VW Maaadmaad you are mistaken. Outside of the US there is a 1.4 twincharged engine with both a turbo and a supercharger and it comes mated to a DSG transmission. The TDIs in the US that came in the mkv and MKVI were mated to a DSG as well, as well as the 3.6 VR6 in the Passat. However I was not sure if the MKVI Jetta came in this combo.

About service is there any problem??? Coz wanna buy the new jetta n asking the senior jetta about it...
the car so far is perfect. not a single problem.
muhammad syamin muslim dsg is the best one.. my 2012 jetta tdi has 216000 miles on it.. still works like brand new and shifts like new.. only thing i change is passenger side cv axle, battery, and twice brand new tires. . Damn it i havnt even change the brakes yet.. but i guess i have to.. im a car killer. .lol
fast shifts!!! i'm assuming this is the twincharged engine with the DSG transmission?
correct. i love this engine, transmission also cant say one bad word about it :)
Really? I had no idea, you guys are lucky. Does it still produce the 150hp? Wonder why they didn't produce those platforms here in the states?
Wish the 1.4t here would have the DSG, my 07 gti with the fsi engine had it and it was awesome.
Where was this? The motorcyclist was gutsy.
that is malaysia.
Very impressive. Looks like a 1.8 tsi.
Ishay Bar-Yosef yasss That’s Not A 1.4 Impossible
Nice . Rpms getting way to close to the RED . Possibly could lose engine .. Where are your local Police .?
well in Malaysia, we almost have no cameras and no traffic police on highways. i also did the video on sunday early morning and chosen new and not popular highway to minimize traffic encounters.
wow excellent Jetta!!! And video!!!!
thanks Sergio :)

just want to ask if this model coming with or without supercharger?
nope. it is twincharge technology.
É um bom carro. Quem conhece sabe.
Passei mau só de olhar; pra mim 120, 140 Km horas, esta ótimo e isso só em ultrapassagens.
vw jetta awesome speed good vehicle brake sysytem so good so speed 👌👌 👌👌

Which model is it? Comfort or Sport..is all jetta a 280 tsi variant.
i am not sure, but comfort or sport is just version for some extra features. this jetta is 2015 and it was bought as full version, but i dont remember how they called it by then :D
new jetta dah launch semalam huhu x sabar nk tgok dah lama berminat
Which country is this where this much fast driving is even allowed?? Going on a highway above 200km/h?? 😱
it is not allowed. i broke the law. country is malaysia ;)

Nice topend...you're doing that with a stock setup ie the 1.4cc turbo, factory spec, no mods? I've seen many run, even in S mode & topped out under 200 (hyundai elantras & new honda civics giving them heat also)...if so hook me up with those Malaysian spec motors or any mods you know that could get to 260kmp...keep making those vids (y)
yes it is 100% stock car. for info about mods please join facebook.com/groups/JettaMsia/ there are plenty of members doing ecu remaps and they can do 250+
it is stock 1.4 turbo without mods 2015. unfortunately 2016 is a bit weaker :(
You probably need a new gearbox for 260
According to VW spec 2016 1.4T Jetta's top speed is 210. You probably were going uphill.
Serio i cała resztę antyków 😅. 🤣

You are good driver, please don't do this again...good luck and God with you🙏
yes, i did it once only for sake of making this video. normally i drive 130-140 on the highway.
It got some gravity assistance when top speed is attained. Still nice driving..Nice road, nice car.
that is true, it was bit downhill haha
By the way, which highway it is. Really nice road.
LEKAS highway near Kuala Lumpur. the best road for speed runs in Malaysia if you ask me ;)

Normaldir, tek çizgi düşüyor yani 3,5 litre fln yapar. Gittiği yolu hesaplarsak videonun başından sonuna 25 km. Bunu 4 ile çarparak 100 kmdd 14 litre yakmış oluyor. Yüksek devirlerde normaldir. 👍😊

Is this like the autobahn, but in Malaysia?
it is highway in Malaysia, but with speed limit of 110km/h, so not like autobahn :D that is why i went sunday morning to make this video, so i dont disturb other drivers.
Wow if the highways over here in the United States were clear like this I would feel comfortable driving 145kmh or 90mph. Speed limits here are about 115kmh, I still go 130kmh. Is speed enforcement really strict in Malaysia?
Nice

In this test, fuel using RON95 or RON97?
Will D7 gear hits higher top speed?
ron95. i dont believe ron97 is worth extra money. as for d7 i used S mode so it will never jump to d7. on d7 in d mode the car is slower.
