    Got a 40 yearold crab apple l grew from a sapling. Spend hours on it getting rid of the aphids with soapdish liquid veg oil and water spray. It works, but its a full time job almost! Lol. Will try the flour and milk etc recipe if l can find wood ash, but most firewood wood here is not beech. And will try the foam wrap with vaseline. I keep stiff old toothbrushes to get the aphids when l see the waxy dust where they live in the bark. Ants don't seem to want to *cross a white line* - have seen some countries paint the base of trees white. Like the way you introduce two nests of ants and let them fight each other away naturally... but wonder how far apart they naturally set up their nests? 🇬🇧
    I know slugs and snails have a 'homing' nature. Used to take them off in a box to a piece of neighbouring wild land. The hedgehogs there were instantly fat and happy but still toddled out of their wildland to 'dine out' on stray snails and slugs in the open-plan landscape of the front garden. Its become a pre-weds' dating haunt now. They bring their kids back now and then. 😊

      The ash does not have to be only from beech, it is important that it is completely natural. A mechanical barrier made of sponge and vaseline gave me the best result without any risk of damaging the tree or the tree bark. It is effective throughout the season. I use milk and flour when there are too many aphids, and I prefer the ash solution option, which you can use every 7-10 days. Thanks for watching and best regards👋🌱

      @@organickulture Thank you for replying. Appreciate it. My friend in the Highlands of wild Scotland has a 'log burning fire' and whatever comes out of it - is mine (for the insecticiding liquid) when he visits. Happy me!
      Weirdly, I have a lot of foam which am slowly recycling in various ways! My beloved tree will be VERY happy 💫 x😉🙋🏻‍♀️

    Have any suggestions for slugs and snails?

      Sprinkle ash around the plants, snails cannot cross such barriers because it dries out their feet🌱

    Kako uradis prevod na videu na toliko jezika..?Hvala

    • @organickulture
      @organickulture  7 месяцев назад +1

      Preko desktopa udjite u youtube studio i na lijevoj strani izaberite subtitles. Zatim odaberite video na koji zelite ubaciti jezike tako sto kliknete na naslov videa i vidjet ce te opciju add language. Tada dobijete dvije opcije, prva je da prevedete naslov i opis videa, a u produzetku da dodate i titl/prevod izabranog jezika. Nadam se da sam pomogao, lijep pozdrav🌱

      Pronasao sam i ubacio sam nas prevod ali kako ubaciti ostale posto vidim da ste vi preveli na vise jezika..?

    • @organickulture
      @organickulture  6 месяцев назад +3

      Preko Google translate možete ubaciti bilo koji jezik. Neće vam niko zamjeriti zbog nekog pogrešnog padeža 🙂 A ako baš hoćete da bude sve perfektno, onda možete i druge jezike "popraviti" preko "Grammarly" programa. Lp
