tbh what actually happened is better! allow me to do a little recreation. Hasbro/WOTC: We want more money from the fans. Make paid DLC. Larian:...No Hasbro/WOTC: uhhh what do you mean no Larian: Bye! Oh, and what's this? are we accidentally dropping our level editing tools on the way out? oh no. how terrible. we better let the fans know to definitely not mess with them -- and you know what we'll even lock them up for you Hasbro, with an encryption that definitely will not take all of five minutes for a novice coder to break. welp we're finished with the game anyway byeeeeeeeee
Omg, I never have to touch a LSX file again! Fantastic coverage of this tool. I feel like it was perfectly concise while still giving me everything I need to get started. My D&D maps will never be the same again!
Yes this was exactly what i was looking for, I just saw the news about what the released toolkit could do and i want to create something but don’t know where to start so thanks for this video! :D
Hi! Thanks so much for this tutorial! I have a problem thow - for me Resouce Manager buttons (like terrain brush) are very small and very hard to see. Do you know maybe where I could change that? Rest of the UI is correct.
When I try to drag over StonePath_B to the Terrain Panel nothing appears there. Do you hold down shift or another key for it to work? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any thoughts?
I listened to this and it's quite clear even without watching. Very good job. I don't know if there IS such a mod, but is there a way to prevent camp NPC from moving back to their location ?
I'm trying to follow along with what your doing but it looks like they have changed how the ui looks. I've spent 30 minutes looking for the terrain panel and still cant find it
I had the same problem. This note from Nexus mods fixed my issue. The installation instruction say copy the files to the BG3 Editor root folder, which could mean: \steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Editor But it actually means the BG3 Toolkit root folder: \steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3 Toolkit
I found the issue. Have to install Moonglasses - BG3 Extended Toolkit to have these options. Should probably specify that or throw it in the description. Regardless, thanks for the tutorials!
How feasible is it that someone with no coding experience could make level mods for BG3? I imagine its pretty complicated, but I have some ideas I'd love to try!
The complication comes from knowing where things are and how they interact. Personally think its something everyone can learn, just about putting time into it.
To future campaign makers/modders/cool people, thanks for doing what you're doing!
Remember all those mirror portals in House of Hope? Now we can potentially visit all of them, and how cool is that!
this is really amazing. Feel like I need to learn this stuff.. thanks so much for sharing.
And now you did!
@@Dorumin I started like a day after that comment lol
Larion really just said: The fans will make the expansion for Baldurs gate 3

Just joined, oh boy my memories of the good old Neverwinter Nights days come to mind.
Thank you so much for this series this is exactly what this community needs so anyone can make mods!
it's insane, I remember warcraft 3 and its maps but this is at another level
this is history in the making

That's an incredibly powerful modding tool, holy cow.
It's their devs tools. What's baffling is why they locked them to begin with...
Thanks for the good tutorial and getting the word out. It very much reminds me of NWN2's toolset.
Here before this channel blows up!
Thank you for making these comprehensive guides! You're a life-saver
This is awesome! Thanks so much for this. Please continue the series :)
Thank you so much for this! Now to figure out how to make buildings and place other misc. objects to bring the space to life haha
We just released the newest version that allows for placement of buildings. Previously they were invisible due to a bug.
really cool modding tool. Love rpg's so much I'm happy to commission an official module, yawning portal, curse of strahd, caves of chaos.

Man, I absolutely cannot wait for the mods of this game.
Goodbye outdoors, this kit is everything I could ever have wanted
Holy crap are we getting full DND campaigns made in the balders gate engine.
Thank you CFLO, very nice !
Please make a tutorial on how to get teleported to a new level when interacting with a book (with a dialogue)
Soooo, has anyone hired any of the BG3 voice actors for their mods yet? Cuz we need to fix Karlach's heart
The interesting thing is that these days we can use AI to mimic someone's voice so it speeds up the process
i want to hear tav's voice
Very nice!
Insane, thank you
Nice! Thank you for your service 🙂

Hmm... it shouldn't have changed. Are you able to attach a screenshot?

@@cruciblegaming2632 I'll look into it further and post an update if i figure out my issue. Also idk how to attach screenshots to yt comments.
I am also having this issue. Not sure why. Everything else seems to be functioning

I always wondered why BG3 didn't have a level editor like Divinity Original Sin 2 did.
Omg thank you

Now how do I continue the game after the ending?
to me it looks very complex just like from divinity orginal sin 2 :T
Yes, it's the same engine, just updated.
Will make a pipe smoking mod so male characters can smoke hashin's pipe unlimited times?
Cool stuff, but I'm distracted by the lip smacking before sentences
Nice!
Thanks to you modders this game might actually be worth buying sometime soon.
