It's such a pain that there are so many people who still can't stomach Pete Buttigieg as a possible vice president because of his LGBT orientation. He is one of the most professional Democrats out there.
He's simply one of the most professional politicians and public servants out there. He outshines most of them in terms of class, skill, and knowledge.
He would be the next prime minister in Norway if he was campaigning in our election (as a Norwegian citizen). He would knock out the rest of the participans...and we do have pretty good politicians here.

I am politically more "progressive"/left than Buttigieg, but my God, I'm in awe at how good he is at this. He always has his facts, never gets flustered, and is just aggressive enough to not get steam-rolled.
Pete is concise, articulate and does his homework. This man is putting those Fox hosts to shame
He does a great job at reframing. The media, and especially the right wing media, are experts at finding a tiny technicalities or nitpicks and using that to spin a whole tale out of. "Biden's cabinet meetings didn't always go perfect," or "he mixed up one word for another" or "Walz said he carried weapons in war when he meant to say weapons of war." Most politicians and media people just get all tangled up in the technicalities. When he was in Italy during the War on Terror, did it count as being in war, etc etc. Not Pete. He's like look at yourselves. You're focusing on if he said one word right one time, when Trump is literally telling bold faced lies hundreds of times a day. Or look at yourselves. You're getting all inside baseball on how Biden runs his cabinet when he won on these major bills like the Infrastructure Bill and Inflation Reduction Bill. Stuff Trump never could get done because he doesn't know how to govern. He is a very smart debater because he knows it's misdirection coming from FOX, and he doesn't get distracted by the shiny keys they want us all to focus on.

If I were a real Republican I'd be completely stymied by how to get out of this mess that MAGA has created. I don't think it's possible but I don't actually claim to be anything about a party. I'm not a party voter.
My advice to a Real Republican would be:
At this election just write in the name of who you'd want to vote for. Or.. vote for a moderate democrat to buy 4 year to fix your stuff, or.. don't vote. If you vote Trump then this might just be the end.

I find the normal GOP useful for keeping progressives from going too far. People can get carried away with big ideas that start from a good place. So.. to me, the real GOP was the brake pedal needed to keep that in check. But progressives are how we actually make progress. And I want progress. I always want progress.

Regarding crime, historically crime also goes up as economic instability increases. The fall of Rome was preceeded by the ever widening poverty gap. We are seeing this now within our own country as well.
The 1 % likes to argue that trickle down economics works. But from person experience delivery driving, it is often the mid to upper working class that tips the most. The people living in half a million dollar homes and up have often not provided any tip whatsoever. No, they just hoard their wealth.

Contradiction: Buttigieg praises Biden's competency while also justifying his decision to step aside. If Biden is effective, why would he need to step down? This could be seen as contradictory. Pete is really not that good.

I support Buttigieg and hate Fox News, but being "too slow" to answer a question or "not getting in a word edgewise" aren't characteristics with someone losing a debate.
And this is the problem with debates. Someone can take long answering a question because they're thinking. Often times, the one who's speed talking (Ben Shapiro) is the only spitting a bunch of bullshit. And not getting in a word doesn't just mean you're losing in a debate. It could also mean that the other person is talking too much.
