Speaking of crude,I really love the fact that your videos are free of crude things and foul language. It's refreshing to watch a clean vlog. Thank you!
Me too. It is beyond fantastic to see decency and two very lovely young people. This goes on to say that there is fun without both of those things Ed mentioned above.
I'm curious why this is the 100th vlog in their "Watch from the Beginning" playlist, but it's listed as #107? I missed a few where I didn't catch that they must've skipped some?
@@aimeewright2721 I found the numbers don’t tally either. Several times they seem to skip a number. I started from there “watch from the beginning “ playlist I’m currently just Ed watched 106 then then next one says 108 but their story seems to care on smoothly as if I’m not missing anything? Very strange
I have lived in NZ for 5 years and road tripped round it a few times. I can't believe I didn't know about the incredible place. Sadly it is unsafe now due to earthquakes. You guys are awesome and I love your channel been watching from the beginning and have got to Everest so far! Come back to NZ one day there is so much more to this beautiful country!
Ok... I had to pause this video at 7 minutes in because I'm about to die from cuteness overload. I can't take the adorableness of those little seals. I need a minute... * edit: Ok, I'm back. I still want to snuggle those seals like crazy, but I'm good. I'm good.
I can't even believe they were real. It looked like something out of National Geographic. You were so close you could literally _pet_ them. Amazing. Seriously, one of the cutest things I have EVER seen. I may have to replay this video a few more times just to watch them frolic and play. 😍😍
+peepercoco thankful one of our friends studied abroad in NZ and he told us about them before left for our trip! We got lucky we were there during the right season!
Guys it is with great great sadness that the seal sanctuary you visited here was destroyed in a massive 7.6 magnitude earthquake that struct the top half of the south island at 12:02 am Monday the 14th November 2016. So pleased we have this video to remind us all of the beauty of nature that cant be replicated anywhere else on gods earth. The region of Kaikoura is still cut off by massive landslides on the state highway in and there was wide spread damage. The people of New Zealand are resilient & will rebuild their lives and infrastructure all we ask is you the travelling public visit our amazing country helping us along the way. Go well guys peace luv & stay safe.

Visited here in early December 2015 on our first full day in NZ having flwon in to Christchurch and spent the first night in Kaikoura. What an introduction to a country that just keeps on giving, a new wow round every corner and over every hill! Can't wait to return to NZ and spend longer there.
That is a great place. I have never seen seals in a forest or fresh water. But it is safe with no natural predators so it's a great idea for whatever seal first discovered that.
Thank you for posting this up for those of us that never made it there, unfortunately the area seems to have been destroyed in the 7.5 earthquake on Monday 14 November 2016
Uhhhh what the what??!!...crazy weird van...but making it to a waterfall with the cutest baby seals EVER!!...shut the front door!!...super memorable vlog ♡♡♡♡ BIG HUGS FROM IDAHO
Watched your videos about the Netherlands a few weeks ago (I am Dutch myself), since then I'm bingewatching your videos. I love you both and your videos. And in this case, couldn't resist commenting: aaaww their so CUTE!
awesome vlog! I love the back ground music. yawned baby seal reminds me of Kara (cute adorable) and nate the honey bear (beast mode always hungry for honey and cereal). can't wait for next.
If you ever decide to travel the US You should try the San Diego to Seattle Hwy 1. You will see coast lines as pretty as New Zealand and Australia, with seals and sea lions, magnificent cliffs, ferns, cypress and great food.
You really have guts to do some of your adventures, and you really have guts driving that van around NZ. I wonder how much business they would attract if they toned down their paint work. Great video.
This is so adorable, just because of this I HAVE to go to NZ once 😍 Oh and btw, I'm watching your adventure from the beginning and this is vlog #100 🎉 'Only' 630 more to go haha
Me and wife having been watching your vlogs from the beginning and we are off on holiday to Thailand in 5 weeks on Saturday. We can't wait also meeting up with my oldest son who is living in hanoi at moment but he is coming to Bangkok to meet us in our arrival. Good luck on the rest of your journey.
the more I watch your videos, the more I want to explore but running out of days already... cant wait to my beautiful journey to NZ on the 9th :) Can I squeeze it in on a day trip from Christchurch on public transport?!?!?!?
You guys are so lucky! I went to Kaikoura in 2013 and hiked up to the waterfall, but there were no pups. No seals on the beach, either! I was supposed to go back to NZ this year, and I planned a redemption trip to Kaikoura... but then COVID happened! I guess it was not meant to be.
Shopping trolleys get locked here in UK, too, just like that. And that waterfall with baby seals are supercute! It’s a pity that it got destroyed in the earthquake. I hope it can be rebuilt somehow.
You don't have your carts lock up in Nashville? We sure do here in IL--Walgreen's, Walmart, just about everywhere. But, it does cut down on stolen carts, which have to be expensive to replace.
Hey guys!! How much longer will you be in NZ for? It would be cool if we could meet up! I'll be here for about a month more. In Queenstown at the moment and working my way up.
That would have been awesome! We're only here until the 29th :(. We're currently on the North Island working our way up to Auckland. Queenstown is amazing! Are you going to bungy?
+Mari Johnson ahhhh yay! Looking forward to watching it! And thank you :) I start to sweat just thinking about it still! I so wish we could have met up with you. Maybe some other time :) -Kara
Now if only you could have made those peanut butter and banana sandwiches into fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches it would be heaven lol. The Elvis sandwich. I have never had one before. Might have to try it one day. Those seals are so cute. I want one as a pet. I could watch those seals all day long. If that was the vlog I wouldn't mind.
would you recommend April for visiting New Zealand? I'd really love to go there one day, but as a teacher, I'm stuck to school holidays... so I could travel for 2 weeks (obviously I would want to do your first and second tour :D ) during the Easter holidays or be more flexibel in the summer (mostly July). Flights in the summer are always so expensive and if I remember correctly Kara mentioned the baby seals coming to the water fall in April? thanks for your blogs! I've watched most of them, but not in order, so I started with #1 3 days ago and I can't stop (sleep who?)

Their so cute
The seals are so cute! They're like an aquatic version of dogs haha. That's awesome that you guys got to experience something like that!
+Shawnay Taylor so true! Baby seals are actually called pups! I wonder if the person who named them thought they were like dog too?!
I laughed out loud when Nate was putting that heavy bag into the van :)
Seals are my favorite animals of all time I’m crying I’m so jealous I want to go here so badly

The experience of this quake was very scary power cuts out 3 seconds later BAM! earthquake
At least the pups are still coming to this spot. We just need to re-build!
What, what? I"m so, so sad... what's being done to get them back to a place like this?
